No. 1 — Restaurant in West Orange

I will never patronize this business again I purchased food from them several times in the past but the quality of my food should not be dependent upon who's cooking that day etc. My final time buying food from them I ordered crab sticks with no white sauce not only did it come with white sauce but it's container was broken while being placed on top of them and leaked all over several crab sticks as I lifted one up out of the bag the breading was falling off all the crab sticks were squishy as if they were rotten. Also ordered a half of fried chicken which was placed in a styrofoam container while still extremely hot causing some of the styrofoam to melt onto the food therefore contaminating our chicken with the chemicals from said container, fried rice was hard and unappetizing none of the food was edible the final insult was the fact that I requested and paid for extra soy sauce which they did not give us we will not be using them again this is not the first time that the quality of food came into question I tried giving them second...

I've been eating here for years and other than the fries, the food has been good. I don't know if their supply order has been compromised by covid, causing them to substitute ingredients or if they've been selling old food. The General Tso's chicken had dried out, stringy, rubbery meat that smelled off (I had to spit it out) and the gravy for the chicken egg fu young had this weird smell and a very strong tang to it. I'm just glad that I tasted a little of the gravy first before pouring it all over the food. Both had to be thrown away and the slight headache I got just from tasting a spoonful of gravy and a chunk of General Tso's chicken makes me believe the food was spoiled.
