Horrible customer experience! If I could rate a zero, I would. I was visiting the West Palm Beach area with two friends and went thru the drive thru. Our order and money were taken and we were asked to park and wait for our food to be brought out to us. We were presented with food that did not belong to us and handed it back to the employee. She never apologized for the mix-up but just took it back and said, "Okay." I saw a 2nd employee bring out food to a car that had just ordered and asked her what was the delay with our food to which she said, "I don't know how long it takes to cook your food!" My response was, "we have been waiting for more than 30 minutes." I then asked for the manager. A gentleman approached my vehicle and I asked his name. He identified himself as James, the manager. I explained our situation and my concerns about the extra long wait time to which he said, "Ma'am, we are cooking your food now so that it is fresh. Your ticket got lost in our system." I was absolutely enraged and demanded my money back. He confiscated our receipt saying he needed to scan it into the system in order to process the refund. I brought to his attention that there was nothing on the receipt to scan and provided him with our order number, but still he insisted he had to have the receipt. After waiting yet another 5 minutes or so, James brought out our refund. Neither of the 3 employees that we encountered offered an apology of any kind including the so called manager. I even mentioned that and still he refused to apologize. I will never visit this Zaxby's again!! 😒 Total wait...
Read moreHave been to this one several times. I’m not sure what’s going on with this particular one but the quality seems to be going down hill, not to mention the actual restaurant itself too. Half the time the AC is not working here. So it’s like gambling on whether or not it will be working when you arrive. Every single time I go they are out of at least one thing if not several like ice, ketchup, sauces , napkins, etc. The restaurant is usually dirty. You will have to wipe the table off yourself. For some reason the employees do not like to clean here. The tea here, when they have it, has a weird chemical taste to it? Leading me to think they are not cleaning the canister properly? Even when there are no other customers in the restaurant there is always a wait? Employees spend more time talking amongst themselves and on their phones than actually working. I have had the wrong food given to me several times. I have had food missing from my order more than once. The quality of the food, especially the chicken, has taken a nose dive. The last 2 times we went the chicken tasted and looked as if it had been fried, sat around and then was quickly refried when we ordered it. Read moreThe crew seems to be unsupervised teenagers. I have visited this location 4 times in the past few months. The last visit a few weeks ago: The soda machine was empty. I mean empty, no coke, no root beer, no sprite, etc. You would tell them & all you would get is "I know". They never have ice tea out where it's supposed to be & you can get it. You have to try to get someone behind the counter to actually stop & speak to you, to ask for ice tea. It takes an average of 15-20 minutes to get your food, even if your the only customer in the store. If there are other customers, then it's 25-30 minutes. There are usually dirty tables. Two of the four visits, there were homeless people in the lobby asking for money, & then your leftover food. At our last visit, the manager came in & it was like "Mom" had just got home with teenagers scrambling to do their chores before she noticed. She was asking them why isn't this done & why isn't this done. One girl mouthed off with attitude & was sent home. They finally changed the cartridges in the soda machine. And then the coke, didn't even taste like coke. It had some weird flavor to it.
They need an on-site manager all the time & clean up the attitudes...
