Classic Burgers — Restaurant in West Springfield

Classic Burgers 1261 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089 December 15, 2024 I’ve seen this place but with so many options for burgers I never went. The place seemed busy and frankly I missed the festivities. My wife had forgotten something at church so I had to go back to get it but I dropped everyone off first at Classic burgers. By the time I came back everyone had already eaten their food. But they did order a burger for me. And oh boy was it good. My son called it “basically like 5 guys.” Which I am not sure I would agree but it was on par with and the decor in the place was good enough and peanut free, they scored well with me. The prices are high, too high but I understand everything is high today. I’m not even sure what kind of burger they got for me but it sure didn’t last long. I barely had time to take a picture before it was inhaled. I sat there as everyone was either staring at me or talking, I consumed that thing with reckless abandon. My sister came out from California to visit me I heard about this place and thought it would be an idealistic place to eat. I saw the reviews and saw some good and some bad. We went in the restaurant and were given attitude because we weren’t ready to order even though we stepped aside to let other’s go ahead of us. The worker’s were so rude and wanted us to just order something even though we’ve never seen their menu. We asked questions and were given more attitude I even asked if they have chicken tenders and was told they never served that here even though I saw a few reviews saying they did. We just ordered fries and one burger for us to split up since we didn’t feel welcomed at all! We love how the inside looks and how retro it was. Boy was our order pricey! I’m glad we got one burger and one order of fries because the food was not all that. Fries were burnt. On my way to the airport in hertford CT my wife , brother and momma wanted to just try something a little different , well here it is . classic burger did not disappoint . We did show up when they had a bit of a lull in their action, around 2:30 ish . Such a wonderful break , much needed after lots of family reunion activities . We'll we had a variety of picks from the menu. Burgers , chicken and fries . The prices are fair . The restaurant is pretty cool . The staff we met were pretty AWESOME . Food was fabulous . Great selection of cold beverages . Very clean and organized . I will include photos . Give these people a try . You won't be disappointed .
