I highly recommend going to The Crest Room in West Springfield for a fun night out! Itâs right on route 20, so itâs easy to get to, and had lots of room for parking. There was a cozy bar section with a super friendly bartender, and all kinds of sports on the TVs if you want to catch a game. Then there was also a really cool enclosed heated patio section with another bar/tables to sit to eat at.
While I didnât eat there that night (definitely planning to go back multiple times to try everything on the menu at some point because it all sounded delicious - especially the BBQ!), I did partake in a tasty mixed drink - The Lucky Redhead - which was perfect after a long day at work.
And of course, my favorite part, they have a spot for local musicians to set up shop so you can have a little entertainment while eating. My friend Jon Berman played there the other night, and it was so fun to see the other patrons laughing, singing along to his music, and engaging with him. It was also nice to see people go up to Jon after and ask questions about his music and where he would be playing next so they could come out to see him again! Thereâs nothing better than seeing people supporting our local musicians, so thank you, Crest Room, for allowing that to happen.
10/10 definitely recommend this place! Get out and support local restaurants and local musicâŚwe canât let this kind of...
Read moreOverall a good experience! The atmosphere & the service were great. We would try again because of that. The food left a lot to be desired. It wasnât bad at all. But it definitely wasnât as good as we were expecting based on reviews. We got Nachos w/ chili, onion rings, garlic parm wings, a platter, brisket potato skins, Caesar salad, Mac and cheese, brisket tacos, French fries, carrot cake, chocolate cake, cheesecake with strawberries, and brownie sundae. We tried a little bit of everything as we like to do when we eat somewhere new. Dinner was okay. Just not great. The meat we found to be extremely dry however, the smoky flavor was great. The Mac & cheese was flavorless. Not cheesy at all! Like buttered noodles almost. The nachos were good but the toppings were just plopped on the very top / not spread around so most the chips were dry and there was very little toppings to try to spread on all of the chips. We got the 4 desserts to go and we all must say- they were the best part. Delicious dessert options!! The service was great from both our server and what I believe to be a manager when they got very busy. He jumped in and was helping the only server. Very nice people and they did a great job...
Read moreThis is where grandpa should be asking to go for his birthday to get wings.
People donât know this about me, but Iâm hungry like the wolf for wings. This place has wings that could blow your house down, rebuild it and blow it down again.
The service was top notch. A friendly server answered ALL the questions with enthusiasm and correct answers. This guy that looked like a Temu version of my old roommate Josh was very helpful as well.
The atmosphere was fun. This is definitely an old timers haunt and there is nothing wrong with that.
The wings though⌠They were basically sexual. Smoked perfectly with just the right flavor, paired perfectly with blue cheese dressing. $18 for 12 of these beauties is better than the after party you went to on prom night.
Looking forward to coming back and trying more. Intrigued with the Cajun dry rub!
Canât count against them in the score for this, but not having a cheap wing night is borderline criminal. Suggestion: soccer games on Saturdayâs with cheap wings at lunch time. Hope you read this!
