If you’re searching for a top-tier kebab spot, TKS is the place to be. Everything about it feels intentional, from the flavor-packed food to the customer-friendly setup.
The food? Absolutely on point. Every bite is rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The tortilla deserves a spotlight of its own—it’s fresh, perfectly charred, and adds something truly special to the whole meal. Then there are the sauces, both the white and the green. They hit all the right notes: bold, balanced, and designed to enhance the food rather than take over. On top of that, offering unlimited sauces with no extra charge shows they really get what customers want. It’s a small thing, but avoiding that awkward moment of being given one tiny sauce cup or being charged extra just feels good.
The team working there is another highlight. The staff are friendly and attentive, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. I also appreciate the option to self-order. It lets you scroll through the menu and decide at your own pace without feeling rushed or like you’re holding up a line.
As for price, it’s more than fair for what you get. It gives me the same vibe as places like Cava or Sweetgreen, but with the added bonus of being freshly made per order. Also, the little touches don’t go unnoticed. The fries stay crisp whether they’re in your sandwich or on the side, and the pickled red onions are fantastic.
Even the space itself has been clearly thought through. The interior design, the color choices, and the inclusion of all-gender bathrooms show attention to detail and a focus on creating a comfortable environment for everyone.
TKS feels like it’s just getting started, but it already has everything it needs to grow and succeed. Between the high-quality food, excellent service, and smart setup, this place is something special.
In my opinion, TKS isn’t just a kebab shop. It’s modern...
Read moreI loved the flavor of the San Diego! Wow! I got the carved chicken and I don’t know if they just marinate their chicken overnight or what but it was incredible! The mixture of the French fries, cheese, onions and spices really took this wrap out of the park! I do have to be honest about the interior of the building. They ran out of yogurt, the green sauce and chili sauce. I had to walk to the counter and request a Togo of the green sauce. Although it’s spacious on the interior, I don’t believe they had enough staff to maintain cleanliness of the table tops, countertops and drink stations created by the volume of customers. Customers had to clean surfaces themselves if they wanted to sit and dine in. I counted space for about 30 patrons. If someone left, the table would remain dirty until a customer took the time to clean it off themselves. This process repeated itself about 3-4 times as I sat and dined in. I too had to clean my table. So, I presume, it’s a right of passage if you’re going to dine in. The restrooms were also not that clean. No toilet paper, no paper towels, dirty and very sticky floors. I read that this location is new. Perhaps just a person whose sole purpose would be to manage the front of house tasks such as cleaning, and maintaining the front of the restaurant and restrooms would be a great addition. Overall, I give this place a 5.1 as the food was incredibly flavorful! But the establishment wasn’t...
Read moreThe food was great, fresh and came out quick. The team were all very helpful and professional. The location itself was nice, just to the left of whole foods in the same strip shop center. The guy at the counter was very helpful and made a few suggestions as it was our first visit. The food looked even better in person than the photos on the screen. Flavors and textures were on point. They have handmade sauces to go with your food, I needed that green jalapeño sauce for every bite it was that good. The reason I have to give the visit a 3 is the extremely trash playlist that they have. I completely understand the west coast Cali vibe music but that is the exact reason why there were ZERO FAMILIES. The trash music was filth that cant be played on radio. I was really ejoying myself until I heard cussing back to back then talking about hoes. Im litetally sitting there with my wife and 11 month old baby.... hearing trash mucic. Truthfully the music was out of place and seemed tone deaf. I will definitely be going back, but most likely not to dine...
