Arby's — Restaurant in West Valley City

This place has gotten worse.

The last three visits have lasted in an average wait time of twenty minutes for food. That's minimum for the drive thru.

My most recent visit was today. I went inside as I didn't want to wait in my car and waste gas. There were four people ahead of me inside. One guy was sitting on the ground while he was waiting for his food to be prepared.

The cashier made eye contact with me a few times, but continued to bag food. It wasn't until the four people had received food, that he told me 'Sorry for the wait' and decided to help me out.

Now waiting for food:

There's only ONE person making food in the back. The manager is just walking around with a clipboard, who could be helping out while there's a rush. She has to be qualified enough to make sandwiches. The girl at the drive thru and the cashier are both standing around making fries, such a difficult task to accomplish, when they could be helping the main 'cook'.

Probably not going back to this place again. I'd rather drive further to a different location, it'll probably be quicker.

Also the fries I received were still cold...

The Market Fresh Turkey and Swiss sandwiches are the best tasting sandwiches I know of, and the milkshakes are the fanciest you can find outside of a soda fountain. Which is why it’s so disappointing to find they are closed some Friday evenings. The first time this happed was 6:30 on the Friday after daylight-savings-time-end, because I was grumpy the sun was down early and Arby’s was closed on a Friday evening and the Arbys due east about two miles was also closed early.

The second time was two weeks ago. I saw the notice posted that said they wouldn’t open until 3:00, but they weren’t open at 5:30 when I got there. This is the same experience as the other one-star review had, but two hours later. I was frustrated enough that I didn’t drive over to the Arby’s two miles east.

I’m posting this now because I drove to another local fast food restaurant this evening (not Arby’s) only to find it closed during business hours and am getting irritated with this trend. A review of this other restaurant will be posted next...

I went into the Arby's had a few safety food problems go on. Being a manager at the place I work in noticed that this was incorrect and needed to be dealt with immediately, I spoke to the most professional manager her name was Ana I believe she fixed what happened after the basket that was dropped on the floor and was used again without the correct washing of the basket. I spoke to analyze she took all the baskets back and washed them which was amazing of her and she was very professional about what she did to fix this problem. Myself being a manager I was very impressed. Ana you are a great manager and you corrected what happened and for this I will come back again and again.
