Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in West Valley City

I typically love Beans & Brews, but this location was pretty disappointing. I felt like the customer service was good; the barista was nice and respectful. But he seemed to keep mixing up my order and the coffee honestly was not that good. I usually love the Mr. B’s….but mine didn’t taste anything like it. I got an iced 32oz & even added an extra shot because I wanted 4 total, and it just wasn’t that good. I did make a mistake of ordering a drink incorrectly; a hot white mocha instead of iced…but when I asked if they could remake it, they offered to just pour the already hot latte over ice; as if it were inconvenient just making a new one. That latte was also not very flavorful, & so it was just a disappointing experience all around. The drinks were fine, the servers were friendly... but while we were sitting and chatting, a homeless looking sort of fellow broke their tip container clean of the counter and took off with all the cash. The employees didn't seem to know what to do/or care all that much . After about 3 minutes of silence, one employee came over to inquire after our well being, but there was no obvious attempt to get local law enforcement involved... I mean, I know its a sunday in Utah, but c'mon. We left rather quickly, uncomfortable with their seeming lack of concern. I don't believe I'd ever return to this...
