Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in West Valley City

On June 20, 2025, I visited Carl Jr.'s and placed my order inside. I informed the order taker that I wanted 3 California Classics, among other items, and a Chocolate Shake. He repeated my order, stating that I had ordered 2 burgers, which I corrected to 3. While waiting, I decided to add an Xtra shake. Upon receiving my order, I discovered that it only included 2 burgers, despite being charged for 2. I returned to correct the mistake, but the employee argued with me, claiming that I had said 2 burgers. I corrected him, explaining that the other receipt was for the additional shake. He proceeded to discuss the issue with the cook, repeating the incorrect information. After providing me with the additional burger, I informed him that I would be contacting the manager. His response was dismissive. When I called to speak with the manager, I was surprised to find that I was speaking with the same employee, who claimed to be the manager. I also reported that my son had not finished the Chocolate Shake due to its unpleasant taste and smell, which he believed was caused by freezer burn. He became ill after consuming it. The manager responded that their ice cream products are regularly inspected and that there was no connection between their products and my son's illness. He also mentioned that I was on camera, to which I replied that I intended to contact the corporate office. His response was dismissive, and he hung up on me. We got to the restaurant a little before 5pm and were the ONLY customers in line. We had intended to buy shakes with dinner during the happy hour shake special that ended at 5. We were cutting it close but were ready to order a few minutes before 5pm. We waited for a very long time to get our order taken. More than one employee walked right past us without acknowledging us. When we went to order the shakes we were told we couldn't have the happy hour special because it was after 5. It was literally 5:02 and if we had been helped within 5 qeminutes of when we walked in it would have been before 5pm. I took my girls over to have lunch while our house was being painted. They like the play place and so this is were we went. The lunch crowd was 95% high school students, so we order or foods and went into the play area. 3 high school student girls, were in the play place, (there is signs on all the doors to the play place that they aren't allowed in there), having loud conversing about strippers, getting pregnant, and full of cuss words. After 15 mins. I asked them to please change their language in front of my kids. They didn't, 10 mins later I contacted the manager. They were then removed from the play area.
