Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in West Valley City

I just want to put out there that there is no issue with the actual ice cream. The idiocy of the employees that were working when I came in however, was on a whole different level. Having been to Baskin-Robbins many times before, they usually have pretty thin milk shakes. I usually ask that they make mine thicker and it has never been an issue at other locations. When I asked the worker this time, she told me that it would be extra. When I asked why, they said they had to follow a recipe and charge more if I wanted to change it. I said that’s fine, then realized that they were charging me more to make the medium shake that I asked to be made a little thicker, than a large shake would cost. So I asked if I could just pay for a large shake and put in that amount of ice cream with less milk. They acted like I asked them how to solve the worlds hardest math problem. I was like it’s not that big of a deal guys, I’ll just pay for a large to get a thicker medium. After finally agreeing, I paid and the girl made a huge milk shake, about 2 mediums worth and poured half into my medium cup which filled it up. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the consistency of chocolate milk, with some small chunks of chocolate that easily went through the straw. I said, do you see everything left in the blender? I wanted all that ice cream in my cup so that it was a thicker milkshake. She said, yeah I made a large and gave you a medium… I literally just took it and walked out, because I felt bad for the people in line behind me who were as just as dumbfounded as I was, and I realized that explaining basic modifications to those workers was useless. I Door Dash ice cream way more than I should. Regardless, Baskin Robbins gets the order, prepares, and packages it prior to my dasher arriving. So yes, my complaint is with Baskin Robbins. Everything had been running smoothly until about two weeks ago. The associates putting my ice cream in the bag are putting them in upside down. The way they are put in the paper bags, and I buy quarts and pints, there isn't room for them to turn around or flip over. They have been set in the bag this way. Frankly I think it is ridiculous and it is annoying to have my ice cream upside down. However that isn't really my issue. Just an eye roll. My issue is that the last couple weeks (odd how again, the last couple weeks) Baskin Robbins can't get my order right. Remember how I said I eat way too much ice cream? My order is always the same. I place the same order I always do and rather than receiving my good Ole strawberry cheese cake I have received Very Berry Strawberry (hey they were close), Cookie Dough (icky. Do people really eat this stuff?), and tonight I received Cherry Jubilee (otherwise known as vomit flavor). I don't know what changed over the past couple weeks. Maybe they have a new hire? God's way of telling me to quit my late night ice cream addiction? Maybe they are just being lazy. I don't know but someone needs to start paying attention to product placement and...

This was the most disappointing experience I have ever had at a Baskin Robbins. I used to love BR but this place has seriously gone down hill. There were 5 teenage girls working there. None of them had gloves on. They were all touching the cookies and ice cream with their bare hands. They never washed their hands in between customers. The girl in front of me requested that the girl helping her put some gloves on. She put the gloves on for like 2 minutes and then took them off and continued making her food. The entire place was a mess. All tables had melted ice cream on them. There was a line of customers but 5 girls there, 3 working up front and 2 sitting in the back texting and eating ice cream. Someone should have cleaned up the tables and floors. They were pretty gross. It looked like none of them had showered for days. Those girls need to learn about hygiene!!
