I called ahead of time to place an order for just rice. They have their 32oz containers for rice along with a smaller option. I placed the order ahead of time, I needed a quantity of 8 containers of 32oz rice, lady priced everything at $4 each due to quantity. I got to the restaurant & she charged me $8 then went down to $6. I said I'll get 6 containers for $6 while the manager was there approving it, paid $36.25 + tip, then she came back to tell me the manger "changed his mind" & can only give 5 containers of rice at $8 bucks a piece & if I want the other container I should pay the difference of $12 on top of what I had paid for. At this point I'm already $36 deep with a 15% tip on a TO GO order. This place was my go to Taco Place & have sent a lot of customers that way. I won't be doing that anymore, I don't appreciate the change of mind AFTER we agreed & payment was taken. I give the manager a 0 star review for changing the price & quantity several times over salty rice! Super unprofessional &...
Read moreWOW. Amazing all around. The birria tacos with the crunchy shell are absolutely divine and dipped in the broth, it's an unbeatable combo. I got no cheese due to stomach sensitivity but cheese definitely adds another flavor and texture to the taco. Three tacos per person seems about right as they are a great size. ONE side of rice and beans is plenty for two people to share and DO NOT skip the rice! So fluffy and full of amazing flavor. Horchata was sweet and refreshing, perfect drink to wash down the tacos. A friend got enchiladas and she loved those as well, but the tacos are what people come to this joint for. The staff is extremely friendly and coached us through ordering as we had never been there before. Plenty of space inside to sit and enjoy your meal and the restaurant is overall very clean. Lots of parking outside as well! Overall I think it was about $40 for two of us to eat here with both of us ordering 3 tacos, plus a side of rice and beans and horchata to share. Very worth the...
Read moreFood: 4.5 stars - We had the tacos, quesadillas, and the ramen. To be honest, the ramen was just a package of instant ramen thrown in the consume with birria meat. A little underwhelming and not worth the money. The tacos and quesadillas were amazing however.
Service: 3 stars. Fine, but nothing to write home about.
Restaurant: 1 star. The inside felt cheap and outdated, which is weird since they JUST opened. You can tell they didn’t care to make the restaurant itself nice. The tables were small and wobbly and the chairs weren’t much better. The bathroom was absolutely one of the worst I’ve been in. The changing table was literally held to the wall with a bungee cord and looked like it had never been cleaned. The soap dispenser didn’t work and the paper towels weren’t in the case and instead were just placed on top for you to unroll.
Overall it was fine. The tacos were amazing and cheap, but everything else reflected...
