Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in West Valley City

Joanie the manager on duty was very rude tried to rip us off for $4.00. Sunday my family spent $30.00 and was charge $34.00. They charged us for Chile cheese fries we didn’t order and Joanie refused a refund and argued with me for 15 minutes that I do this all the time with a line behind us in the drive thru. I been doing business there for 17 years and never had an issue with the service or anyone there. Not sure who she has me mistaken for but this was the 1st and only time I had a complaint there. Who ever she’s mistaking me for if she was qualified to be in management position, she wouldn’t have the issues of messing up orders if she always has this issue with someone. I had no problem giving the Chile cheese fries back for my money. She finally did give me a refund after 15 minutes and the drive thru backed up. I also know she don’t practice Covid 19 regulations because she rudely demanded the Chile cheese fries back. Due to Covid 19 regulations their not suppose to take food back. She put the customers at risk cause who knows if she used them for the next customer or through them away. No one will ever know. She also put her employees at risk taking them back. Once we touched them and if we were Covid 19 positive would be a chance they could put a lot of people at risk. So we know for a fact Joanie took a risk by taking them back. I will not be going back there and will drive across town just to avoid this location. When Victor was the manager their it was like heaven to go in there. Since he left it was never the same. I don’t think Joanie needs to be fired. She does need more training to be in a management position. To learn to deal with customers on a professional level and not accuse them if she don’t know what she’s talking...

Worst experience at a Wienerschnitzel ever. Ordered a number 1 with cheese to get home and have 2 corn dogs. Call and ask that they fix it and am told that we ordered 2 corndogs as if I don't know what I ordered. After some arguing I am told that we can bring the food back, but that we will have to pay for the number 1. Okay, then I would like a refund for the food we DID NOT order. I am told that they will not refund the money. Of course they did not give us a receipt either. So now they are telling me that I have to pay for 2 meals because they made a mistake. They continue to tell me that we ordered two corn dogs, I ask with cheese??? Then they proceed to tell me that usually when people order a number 1 they actually want the number 2 with 2 corndogs I ask for the number to corporate and am told to find it online. I ask for the supervisor's name to be told that she is the only one. So I ask for the owner's name for her to hesitantly give me a first name and tell me that she WILL NOT provide me any further information. Completely disappointed and definitely will never return.

UPDATE: Spoke with corporate who were very nice and seemed concerned with the experience we had. They sent a coupon for a replacement meal, which really wasn't necessary. My recommendation would be to go to West Jordan. Always good food...

I used to work at the Orem location, and loved it there, so I know what I like and am a picky eater in general haha Anyway, I used to live closer to the Midvale location, so March 4th 2020 was my first visit to this West Valley location. Everything here was fresh, and I asked for extra kraut and some pickles and they really made my order so so perfect! Seriously!! I really hope this is the norm, since sometimes the last bit of kraut sits too long and gets brown and it's not as good. Which is what seemed to happen a lot at the Midvale location. The Midvale place also didn't seem to have fresh polish dogs all the time, like they were sitting in the warmer for too long or something idk. Anyway, thank you thank you to whoever made my order! It was seriously perfect!!!!! I even got a second kraut polish dog cuz it was so good!! OH and this location does have ice cream!!! I wasn't sure since there is another one that doesn't have ice cream. So, definitely check this place out! They have something for everyone! And the mint oreo...
