if i could give this place zero stars i would. I called ahead to make a reservation for my fathers birthday dinner but I really wish I hadn’t. My total was 239.23$ and the tip in trx was 22.13 which we left in cash and we were charged 22.13 on the card as well!! Our waitress Maria Martinez was horrible and completely rude. We got there and it took the waitress about 15 to 20 minutes to finally bring us some chips and salsa and this is only because we went up to the counter and asked. There was balloons on every table so my father asked how come our table did not have any balloons she explained why rolled her eyes and left came back with balloons put them right in front of my fathers face almost hitting him with the balloons. A few minutes later she came and asked us what we would like to drink my father asked what drinks they had since we had no menu she put the menu on the table and told him “look on the menu that’s what we have” when she finally came with the drinks she dropped three of the cokes and giggled about it thankfully they were the glass cokes and were still closed. Alcoholic beverages were ordered and she did NOT ID them my husband and brother are 21+ but why would you not ID someone ordering alcohol!? About 25 minutes later she finally came and took our order again that was only because we had to go to the counter again and ask! When she came with our food three molcajetes were ordered and she had them all wrong, when we brought it to her attention she said to just “switch them around” When she came out with my plate which was the fajitas it took her about 10 minutes to bring out the rice and beans it comes with. She got my drink wrong and when I told her it was wrong she rolled her eyes. We really had a horrible experience especially with our waitress as well but regardless of her behavior we still left a tip in cash and they had the audacity to charge another tip on the card!!! Definitely will never be going...

The food was fantastic. Problem is that I specifically ordered a cheaper dish because I wasn’t very hungry. They brought out the wrong dish (which I didn’t even realize) and then when they brought out the check, it was $20 more expensive than it should have been. I told them and they said they could discount a few dollars off but would have to charge me more than what I originally ordered. Definitely not ideal but I figured that I had just eaten a more expensive dish so I thought I’d meet them halfway. When I look at the receipt (after paying), they had discounted my dish but they had added $5 to the price of the other dish that I had bought for my friend, so I ended up paying the exact same amount ($20 more than I would have had they gotten my order right). It’s a shame cause the food is great but I will never go back and would highly advise others not to go either. The $20 extra that they got from me today will hopefully pale in comparison to the service they will lose from this review para que se les quite lo deshonesto. Check the other reviews. I’m not the only one they’ve done this to.

I just got on to check my bank statement. They actually charged me an EXTRA $20 for a tip after I had already left a cash tip at the table! What’s even worse is that I never signed for a tip on the receipt and crossed out the tip line. They added one anyway. So now for two plates that should have cost $35 I’m now at just shy of $70 for two plates. When I called in to talk to them about it, I was told that it’s their policy to add gratuity to your bill and that it’s written on the menu. THAT IS FINE BUT ONLY IF THAT’S ON THE RECEIPT YOU SIGN FOR! YOU CANNOT ADD A TIP AFTER YOUR CUSTOMER HAS SIGNED THE RECEIPT AS YOU PLEASE! AND IF YOU’RE GOING TO DO IT AGAIN, AT LEAST BE SMART ABOUT IT AND STEAL $1000 FROM YOUR CUSTOMER, NOT JUST $20....

I had a great time here on my girlfriend’s birthday. But it was because of the occasion, not really the place.

Their food is good, but considering the price the portions are rather small, especially the individual entrées (the big $70 plate that you see in the picture is the best value you’ll get, it’s fair).

Appetizers and small dishes are good too but again, kind of small and not as good as one might think.

Now, the service was not bad but wasn’t great either, only us and another table were on the restaurant for the hour and a half we were there, so they can’t say it was because they were busy. The waitresses do talk a lot to each other and often use the phone, so expect a delay on everything you ask for. Now, DO KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR CHECK, the waitresses have a practice of tipping themselves automatically without permission (we were only 4 people and spent less than $200, so I doubt it was a service charge obligation), it’s not a lot but it definitely makes you feel pushed, I would’ve given them a bigger tip as I usually do, but that definitely made me feel kind of bothered.

One last thing, I don’t know if we got unlucky and this is not a common thing in here, but the fried fish that you see in the middle of the picture was nasty, it tasted really bad, like if it was old and not cooked properly which is a shame because as I said before, it’s not like their...
