One of our favorite Pgh work spots and cafes, with incredible selection of games one can just borrow and play. Owner Phil is a really nice guy, and the crowds here are fun folks. Many ongoing groups for nightly gaming, fast wifi…and ORAM’s donuts which are a big thing here. Owner helped me pick great games for my kiddos on holidays and events. I bring them here. Laundry and Myanmar food around the corner 😂 Comfy nooks so we often cowork here all day then relax at night, sipping warm drinks weekly. Stay tuned for more fav Pgh cafes…

Kukulkan Iced Latte was divine. Ganache, hot honey, and marshmallow. Yum! They make their own syrups and hot honey which I find really appealing. They had a great selection of coffee beverages and teas. I bought several fresh Oram's donuts. It was very inviting inside. I can't wait to try more of their menu! The rest of the space is huge and they have a large number of board and tabletop games. It would be fun to bring a group here.

Some of the best tasting chai in town. Looking forward on every visit to try something new or just fall back to my dirty chai latte. Plus they've got Oram's donuts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

It’s such a great addition to the neighborhood. Every time you come in there, everyone is super friendly and helpful which is not always the case anymore.

Today was no exception. We had the pleasure of talking to Ethan. He was so sweet and kind. We really enjoyed talking to him. We told him what kinds of games we liked and he took us to the wall of games and explained what games he thought we’d like the best. He also mentioned the biweekly board game nights they have. We had plans tonight or we may have come back. We’ll definitely be back to try them out. That’s the kind of customer service all places should have. We really appreciated it. They also just got lots of nice gaming tables from a grant.

We also just found they don’t just have Oram’s pastries on weekends but also during the week. I loved my blueberry filled donut. My husband loved his heavily stuffed chocolate chip muffin. We didn’t know Orams also makes muffins and danishes. This is very dangerous info to have. Haha

If you aren’t coming here and supporting this amazing local business, you’re missing out and need to...

Crazy spot! Left side of the building is a HUGE cafe, store space on the right. Cafe has an extensive caffeinated drink menu, which reminds me of the extinct Black Forge Coffee in McKs Rks-RIP, and also a large snack/pastry case (that is filled with Oram’s on Saturdays.)

Tons of room to work, chill, read a book, or even play one of the multitudes of board games that are stored on the back wall. Great space to meet up with friends, caffeinate, and catch up.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They will chat with you and help you find the perfect drink. Their drinks are lovely, using Commonplace Coffees. (My fav, a mocha, is flavorful without being too sweet or overly chocolate.) This is what coffee shops used to be before the onset of pretentious nonsense-welcoming to everyone...

My husband and I saw banners up outside the building and stopped in to Dragon's Roast around half an hour before closing, and although we didn't have time to play any games, the barista was especially nice to us and took the time to give us personal tea recommendations.

It's attached to a game store, so there is a large selection of board games for purchase, to play at the café or rent and play at home. The café itself is stocked with coffee, tea, and energy drinks and is reasonably priced compared to other local options.

There were lots of people playing games as groups, and as we were walking around looking, the owner of the shop also introduced himself to us. This is such a hidden gem close to our home and we will...
