I’m giving the Chick-fil-A in Princeton, West Virginia, a 2 out of 5 stars. As a huge fan of Chick-fil-A, this was unfortunately the worst experience I’ve had at any Chick-fil-A location so far.
Atmosphere: 3/5 Located just off Interstate 77 in southern West Virginia, close to the Virginia-West Virginia border, this restaurant was very busy around lunchtime, which is to be expected. Although the dining area appeared clean and well-maintained, it was crowded and felt chaotic. There were available tables, but the atmosphere was uncomfortably busy, prompting me to eat in my car instead.
Service: 2/5 Service was the biggest disappointment during this visit. I placed my order through the mobile app, planning for convenience, yet after the app indicated my order was ready, I still had to wait nearly 25 minutes at the crowded pickup area inside. When my order was finally called, it was incomplete. After pointing this out to the employee, she ignored me and walked away, leading to another five-minute wait to get someone else’s attention to complete my order. Another customer near me also expressed frustration after waiting over 40 minutes for his mobile order, which was placed while he was still in Virginia. The inefficiency was surprising and disappointing for Chick-fil-A’s typically stellar service standards.
Food: 2/5 The spicy chicken sandwich combo, usually a personal favorite, was unfortunately just average on this visit. While the sandwich itself was edible, the waffle fries were overly salted to the point of being inedible. The salt was literally pasted onto the fries, making them absolutely disgusting and unenjoyable. This significantly contributed to the overall disappointment.
Overall Thoughts: This visit was highly disappointing, and while I understand it may have been an unusually bad day, the lack of preparation and poor customer service was concerning. Hopefully, this location can resolve its efficiency...
Read moreProbably the worst chick-fil-A I’ve ever been too. We chose to dine in inside for breakfast and I wish I hadn’t. We were sitting in a close to empty dining room and waited 40 minutes for our breakfast order. As we were sitting there patiently waiting we watched an employee with red hair give away our food order to some gals who were obviously friends of hers also dining in inside. Dead give away that she knew it was our food because she looked right at us and stated “Oh it’s extra food that was never claimed”. As an employee she never made any effort to ask us about our order. Those ladies ended up leaving with several bags of food. After finally having the last straw my wife went to the counter and asked for our food. We waited another 10 minutes and finally got our simple order of a breakfast bowl, biscuit, and yogurt. Almost 40 minutes after our initial placed order. The excuse was given that the screens crashed and the orders were made but they didn’t know who it belonged to. Management should have made a better effort to check with the dining room to make sure everyone was taken care of. Not a...
Read moreTo whom it may concern, We came to Princeton WV from Beckley to get gasoline because it's less. We decided to order food from Chick fil a in Princeton. The young lady was friendly at the counter and we were shocked at how quickly the food came out. We figured out very soon why it came out that fast. The chicken tasted burnt and was extremely dry!! It must have been way past it's life on the shelf. We beared through the meal, only because we don't want it remade due to cooks getting upset and purposely sabotaging your food. As we were leaving I spoke to a Mgr and told her it was the driest and the worst meal ever from chick fil a, and she responded "I'm sorry I'll let them know". That's it, nothing else. She was pretty much done listening once i voiced my complaint. I began to tell her we traveled from Beckley and she started turning away. Absolutely ZERO customer service. It's sad they don't put their complaints on their commercials, and see how they really handle complaints in the real world. I know without a doubt no one will ever contact me and no one will care that I won't be going back to...
