Frequently the breakfast sandwiches have literally one slice of whatever meat you pick, and extra meat gets you a whole two slices. I have yet to have an iced coffee that didn't taste burnt. Coffee isn't being stirred, sitting out too long, or machines aren't being cleaned properly. Management is probably the cause and could use some work.
EDIT: A year later and dunkin is still just as disorganized. You're basically gambling if your coffee is going to be the right one. They keep giving us vanilla filled donuts when we ordered boston cream.
EDIT: Another 6 months later and let's do this one final time. I don't know if management just thinks these are disgruntled "karens" or what, because they don't seem intent on fixing any of the issues they've been dealing with for years now. However, none of the other businesses have quite as many negative reviews as your business. There's a reason for that.
Here's an itemized list of issues we've had. Alone they're small things, usually. The problem is that at least one of them has happened every SINGLE visit.
Given iced drink despite specifying hot, sometimes multiple times. Not given a straw for an iced drink Received bakery item but not food item Received food item but not bakery item. Window worker unaware of what we have, has to ask us to repeat our order. Gave cream cheese for bagel on the side, but no knife. Put strawberry jam on bagel instead of strawberry cream cheese Charged for things we didn't order Received wrong donut Received incomplete food order Received incomplete bakery order Received stale bakery items. Received uncooked food item (grilled cheese with unmelted cheese for example) When asking for something that's missing or wrong, the employee seems annoyed, as if it's your fault.
Also noting that a different person takes the order than who works the front window. Some drive thru's do this and does seem more efficient, however Dunkin is clearly not capable of pulling this off. The window worker should be the one taking the order so they have a better idea of what was ordered and needs to be given to the customer.
I get "understaffing", "training new employees", etc. But no other place has been this consistently bad for this long. It's a core management and oversight issue.
This is my last review update. I wouldn't be going back here ever again if it wasn't for my fiancée preferring their coffee, at least when it's finally made correctly. Iâm a former employee and I worked there for two years and I never had an issue with getting people the proper coffee the way they ordered it in a timely manner. Yesterday I put in a mobile order for a hot black coffee and when I got to work and took a few sips of it I noticed it tasted funny and I remembered the way the cleaning tablets we used for the coffee pots smelled and that it tasted the way the cleaning tablets smelled so Iâm assuming it was not cleaned out properly and I consumed cleaner. After a few sips I threw it out wasting a full cup of $4 coffee. Today I put in a mobile order for a nitro cold brew at 8:30 am and got there at 8:40 and my coffee was not ready so I stood there and waited even though the mobile order is so I donât have to wait. I was there until 8:52 until someone asked me if I needed help at this point already making me late for work so I informed them about my order and they started to make it and told me their nitro was not working and I didnât have time to mess with a refund (because nitro is more expensive then normal cold brew) and I was late for work. Ordered two hot chocolate drinks in the app to pick up in store. The dining area was closed due to understaffing but I could see staff in there just hanging out with their friends chatting. Pulled up to the drive thru, the lady told me they were out of hot chocolate. They canât refund the order and I had to call corporate to get a refund, which isnât available on the weekend. I asked for substitution. I was told they canât do substitution because itâs 75 cents more expensive than the original item. I offered to pay cash for the difference, the lady told me she doesnât know how to make it work. The entire time the staff never even mention things like âsorry for the inconvenienceâ or âsorry for your troubleâ. Left my number so I can ask for a refund when the manager comes back.
