Hardee’s — Restaurant in West Virginia

Completely mismanaged and understaffed for a location so close to a highway. No wonder they don't even bother to put the Hardee's sign up on the "food this exit" sign on the 77.

The line was long, and they had four people working lunchtime - the manager alternated between making shakes and taking orders. A young girl alternated between running the fryer and taking orders. One young man was alone making sandwiches. One other young man was working the drive-thru, but I can't imagine any food went out. He did pop out one time to complain to the rest of the staff about something.

There were two families of four in front of us waiting for food. After about 10 minutes, neither party had received a morsel of food. We left without waiting for a refund, mostly because there was no one behind the counter to complain to - everyone was running around trying desperately to maintain some semblance of normalcy.

Hardee's isn't a new chain, and there's nothing Earth-shatteringly different or complicated about what they do, so it's inexcusable for a location to be so shambolic after a lunch rush on a Sunday so close to a busy interstate. People are in a hurry and have somewhere to be. To not recognize and deal with that is to disrespect the customer...

One star IS too generous. Went in and used the kiosk to order a strawberry shake, iced coffee, couple of cookies and apple turnover. Finished the order and paid. Cashier finally comes up to other register where she tskes the order of a lady and 5 kids. We wait and wait. The nothing. No acknowledgement of us or our order. Meanwhile after a good 5-7 minutes 2 GIANT bags appear for the woman and kids. Us, we still have nothing. No acknowledgement, no prepping our order. We continue to wait. I finally say something about our order. The manager snidely says well your shakes there. Mind you no one even said here's your shake so it sits there melting. I ask about the iced coffee and treats. They just ignore us. I finally say keep it i want my money back. So then it takes another several minutes because the lady doesn't know how to do a refund on the kiosk. Manager (Judy? Julie?) Says use the other machine. She tries again but proceeds to RING up another order rather than a refund. Realizes it and finally refunds it. A COMPLETE waste of 20 minutes of my life. These workers were incompetent, rude and slow. Wait in the line at Wendy's or Chik Fil A. You'll...

Im pretty sure i was mean girled at this location in WV. I drove through the drive through and ordered 4 spicy wraps and wanted to add tomato. The girl in the drive through (who was friendly, not sure if that was an act though) said they couldn't charge for tomatoes so they couldn't add them and if coarse i replied all the other stores do it and yes i was charged for them at some of the stores. When i pull up to the window the manager was with the drive through worker and explained they have a new system and they have to charge individually for them ok thats fine ( not sure how a tomato is going to break Hardee's), both ladies seemed friendly but almost fake friendly. So they pull me up and I'm like alright I'm getting fresh chicken, my wait was like 5 min not bad, however my chicken was ice cold! I paid $13 and some change for 4 wraps, so I'm assuming they found a way to charge me for tomatoes that i did not even get...
