I am still upset that people would act like this to others!!!! I have to say about the Martinsburg LJS Restaurant that I was saddened by our treatment. This restaurant use to be so Friendly!!!!!!! After ordering our food and pulling up to window I was given my food I then had to ask for condiments and the worker put about 20 packs tarter sauce and ketchup in a separate bag walked back to window and swung this bag at me into my car window and walks away before the bag was even completely in my car.. Nothing happened prior to this within our ordering process that I recall that would have made her upset. I'm always respectful to EVERYONE! I ALWAYS SAY PLEASE AND THANK YOU SO I DK WHY SHE WAS UPSET , Maybe she wasn't but just didn't stop long enough to see the bag was tossed in my face! Because again she had continued walking passed the window while tossing this bag at me. So she wouldn't had seen the ended results to her rudeness!!!!!!! Now on to our food!!?? To be very honest I do not like writing bad reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no desire to harm NO ONE FOR NO REASON! So I will simply say this" all 3 people who ate with me agreed this was. The worst food we have ever gotten from LJS! This restaurant used to be ran by a manger who cared 15 years I think her name was Cindy , and another manger Sara!!! They taught friendliness and cleanliness ,& respect . Everytime we walked out that door we rang the bell they have which means " good service" seems pride is lacking here!!!!!! Idk what's happening now but we all agreed we love long John Silvers and I hope improvements are happening in very near future. I was in Martinsburg visiting family as Iv moved to Virginia Beach. I was visiting my mom who also loves LJS so I know she loves to go to that LJS So again I really hope there are some improvements...
Read moreWe stop in for first time in long time, at the one on 2035 Edwin Miller Blvd. Martinsburg Wv 25404. The food was great. No complaints at all about the food. Where my complaint starts when we wanted put our order at the counter. The employee Shawnell O totally ignored my husband and I, after the first 5 mins standing there with 3 other people behind us. She finally tells us, give her min. When she finally takes our order, she had a attitude and didn't want take it (the way she was acting). Then didn't give us our cups, when we ask. She had enough nerve slam the cup down. I just looked at my husband. Then we finally gets our food. It was missing the Cole slaw and extra hush puppies, when we ask about it. She actually rolled her eyes and said whatever. Then had enough nerve to try hand plate to us, by basically throwing at us because she didn't want walk the extra steps. Come on now. She thought twice when I told her that. Then went back playing on the phone. Instead of playing with your phone. Maybe change your attitude and made clean the lobby. It's pretty bad the floors will pull your shoes off your feet. The soda area is disgusting 🫣 I'm so glad I got a tea. You really need to show your employees how talk to customers . Read moreI want to start by saying that I really love Long John Silver's food and that many locations I have frequented have been excellent. However, Long John Silver's at exit 16 in Martinsburg is subpar and I think will probably remain this way for a while. Only 1 out of 3 visits do I ever get my order correct without stopping in the parking lot to check and then going back in. If you try to get food after 8:30/9pm expect the staff to have turned the fryer off and have a huge wait. Also, at those times they burn half of what they cook. The portions are also almost always wrong sometimes I get a serving of fries and a few times I've gotten like 6 fries total. I tried talking to their manager a few months back after ordering a very large family meal that was totally wrong and he told me it was my fault for driving away without checking the order myself. Look, I know it is a fried fast food place but can't someone get them to follow some basic rules for service? Look at the receipt and make sure it matches the order... Don't turn things off until your shift ends.... I think corporate needs to send someone in to evaluate this franchise before it turns people off to their brand.
