We Arrived at restaurant at 9:20pm and all of the lights (main billboard & menu board) were out, but there was one car at the drive through window. I should've listened to my kids when they were saying it's closed, but I was hopeful because the website said they closes at 11pm. When I got to the window after ordering, I asked what time do they close and the person at the window said 10pm. I should've taken heed to the signs and just kept driving!! I ordered a $20 fill up box. The person taking the order said they don't have any original and would crispy be ok? I agreed and said yes. When I got home some of the chicken was original recipe, but the chicken was hard and obviously old, therefore super crispy (yikes)! The chicken nuggets were black and was unable to bite through. There were only a hand full of fries enough for maybe one person. The biscuits were dark and hard enough to break my winows out. I called the store and talked to the manager on duty (they don't deserve to be named, and im not that petty or malicious) about a possible refund and she says only if we bring the food back, which by that time was late and would not make it back by closing. The manager didn't offer any resolution nor a refund even if I would bring in the receipt the next day. Very disappointing, very poor customer service. I asked the manager if she knew the food was not fresh why would she sell it to customers, and her response was "we sell everything we have left". Seems like a bad idea now to visit this particular KFC within an hour of closing. I hope she is receiving a great bonus for making sure she sells everything regardless of the food quality and time left to operate the business. I do understand that they do not want to be stuck throwing out a bunch of food, but to sell food that's not even edible enough for human consumption is unacceptable. The manager not caring at all at trying to make the situation right, is even worse. I also understand that finding great help, and employees can be hard but this is out right unacceptable behavior by a manager of a well known establishment such as this. I'm not mad at KFC, however interactions like this will always keep your ratings "sub-par" at best! This is why establishments such as Chick-fil-A on a very bad food day will still get an A+ on customer service because they will do everything possible to make sure the customer experience is a great one!! Overall I still do recommend your food and products, but I just hope this was an isolated one of a kind incident, and that no one else has this same...
Read moreMy daughter has gymnastics on Wednesday nights and we also have youth group at church on Wednesday so two of my girls and I have about 40 minutes to grab a quick, cheap meal. This KFC is close and en route to church so we've eaten here for probably 6 weeks straight now, on Wednesdays. I think we're going to take a break and go somewhere else. I just can't stomach it any longer. In all honesty, I'd love to chat with the manager. I think I could help, even if just from the standpoint of moving people in an organization from point a to point b. I realize a fast food joint doesn't attract workers looking to make a career out of it. But there are quick-service locations that capitalize on service, cleanliness, and consistency - visit a Chik Fila. Somehow they do it. Leaders develop the culture, culture builds the skill/behavior, and skill/behavior produces results. Enough of that. I can't believe this building is still standing. I could literally record a "what not to do" video any time we're in here. Once I saw a young female worker wipe the buffet tray track down and I about lept to the ceiling with joy! I pictured myself running over and lifting her high in the air like a figure skating pair, but before things got awkward, I came to my senses. As another reviewer stated, I've seen questionable things in the parking lot here. Scenes that I don't see at other restaurants, so they don't appear typical. I'll end with the good. The taller, thin, white male that works there legitimately seems to be trying his best. I often grab a plate then wait at the counter to request chicken or biscuits because the buffet is out. He always waits on me. The rest of the scene, while I'm waiting, reminds me of watching a room full of Roombas roaming aimlessly around the kitchen. Finally, I genuinely enjoy most of the food. Somehow it's not screwed up. I realize the fast food nature may be hard to screw up. I like the buffet, when there's food. It's cheap, and my kids can eat...
Read moreI went through the drive thru and ordered 3 chicken sandwich meals, 2 with mac and cheese, 1 with fries and an 8 piece nuggets. When I got the food i didn't see any of the mac cheeses so I waited at the window, the girl saw me but turned and went the other way . So I parked and went inside and while I was walking to the counter I heard the one girl say "oh god what is his problem ". So the manager approached me and I told her what was is wrong and she said oh I owe you 1 mac and cheese and walked away. When she came back I said you owe me 2 and she said no there's one under the fries and opened the bag to show me. So I said so you knew and still gave me attitude and she ignored me and said have a good night. She was extremely rude and wrong along with it. So I drove all the way home, 15 minutes away. When I got there I was missing a chicken sandwich as well. I called and confronted her about her attitude and missing mac and cheese and now the sandwich all she could tell with a lot more attitude, mind you, was we thought there were on 2 sandwiches on the order even though there was 4 of everything else on the order. Between the rudeness and incompetence she should be fired and let someone with the right skill set run the store. Extremely disappointed with this store. Now I understand why this...
