The Pallet Bar — Restaurant in West Virginia

Went with a group of friends to trivia night. Beer was good, trivia was OK. Tab was $60.48. The next day I find the charge for $60.48 and an authorization for $60.47. That was over a week ago and the pending $60.47 has still not dropped off my account. Tried calling and their number doesn't work. Ally bank (not a old crusty bank or credit union) can not dispute a pending charge. So now I'm stuck waiting for this pending amount to be released. Will NEVER return to an establishment unable to handle transactions.

Response to owner: Release the authorization on my debit card. There is a completed transaction, therfore, there never should have even been an ADDITIONAL authorization. Because your employees swipe cards twice (once when opening the tab and again when paying the tab) this happens to people a lot when they visit your business. I have waited a week already for this additional authorization to drop off my account. I need my money and your business is holding it hostage. At least get a telephone number that works so these discussions don't need to happen on Google. Release the additional authorization now please. If the authorization isn't released by 5pm tomorrow December 4, 2024 I will open a fraud inquiry...

I recently visited The Pallet Bar and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The selection of local craft beer was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from, and I was able to try a few new beers that I really enjoyed.

In addition to the craft beers, the craft sandwiches were a real standout. They were filling and delicious, with unique flavors that I haven't seen at other bars. The wine selection was also great, making it a great place for those who prefer wine to beer.

The staff at The Pallet was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a beer or answer any questions I had. The atmosphere of the bar was laid back and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day or catch up with friends.

Location is a little strange, but the bar itself is awesome. They have a huge rotating tap list and a small food menu with air fried appetizers to help you not get too wasted (the wings are AWESOME by the way). The bar itself is huge and plenty of tables in there as well to accommodate a group. They also have a couple coolers where you can build your own six pack to take home.
