First of all, we had our four year old grandchild with us and yet we were seated in the VERY LOUD bar side of the restaurant. I ordered the lasagna and declined the meat marinara for an upcharge of $1.99, assuming that the lasagna would be the typical pasta, sauce and cheese layers that one would expect when you get lasagna. It was nothing but gobs of cheese in between two layers of lasagna noodles and then covered with even more cheese. Our server was good, but not exceptional. When we told her about the lasagna situation, she abruptly asks what they can do to fix it and suggested she bring some meat sauce to which I agreed as I couldn't handle all the cheese overload by itself. The sauce was very sweet and not good tasting. I couldn't even eat it. Upon getting our receipt, we found that we were charged the $1.99 for the meat sauce, even though it was their idea of "fixing it". And our grandchild's burger was way over done, and they were not able to eat much of it. And the plate and burger were very hot to the touch as if it was microwaved. My husband's meal was way too salty.

Great atmosphere aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Ordered pepperoni rolls as appetizer they were soggy/greasy on the bottom. A lot of bread and not a lot of meat and cheese. West Virginia is known for pepperoni rolls but these are definitely on the bottom of my list. The sauce was very sour and bland If you are into that then it's perfect. Ordered 6 ounce filet and it was cooked perfect to my specifications and I'm a little difficult when it comes to that. But it lacked flavor no wow factor at all) Ordered Beignets. Very disappointed they didn't have them. Second option was Lava cake. Taste is as expected, very rich sweet flavor. I have not eaten here in several years due to obvious reasons (lacks flavor and no wow factors on any item) and I don't feel that it's any better. It's an average restaurant considering there's not a lot of options in the area. Not a fan for the price, food quality does not match price.

Laid back, comfortable atmosphere, great service, excellent food! Husband had the kickin' chicken sandwich and house-made potato chips. Both were amazing! I ordered tomato bisque which was excellent. Fried pickles were good, but super salty so share with the whole table. Sweet tea was good. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. Update: We finally came back together. We shared an order of deviled eggs, a burger with fries, and a chocolate chip skillet for dessert. Everything was excellent! Fries were so good we didn't use ketchup. Next time I want to try fried mozzarella triangles or kick azz nachos and lava cake. July 2025 - Went with out-of-state family. My niece and I had Blake's baked potato skillet which was amazing! The table shared a soft pretzel and my nephew opted for another one as his dinner. The consensus among the kids was that they prefer the waffle fries over the regular fries.

We used the back room to have a Rehearsal Dinner for 50+ guests in November of 2023. The floors were dirty when I arrived. After the food was served I noticed ALL the plates were dirty which appeared to have some kind of black grease on them. I had to ask for the waitress to return and replace with clean plates. She did, but they weren’t much better . We ordered the chicken breast and barbecue for the main course. The chicken was absolutely tough, chewy and had no flavor. The barbecue didn’t even make it to the serving table. I had to ask for them to bring it out. They finally came out with it served in a small bowl , certainly not enough for 50+ guests . The buns were cold and stale that were served with it . The potatoe wedges were all stuck to the serving dish as well. An absolute embarrassment to my family and friends coming from out of state. The bathrooms are in desperate need of cleaning if not, redone. Dust was all above on the ceiling and lights. We chose this place because we thought it had a nice atmosphere, boy were we wrong ! The waitress we had was very accommodating and timely with the drinks . I wished I could remember her name. She was awesome , considering what all had taken place. Truly we were completely disappointed and embarrassed to say the least. Also, when we tried to contact the manager to place our order for the evening he never returned our call. I finally stopped in and an older lady took our order on a paper towel !!!! Do better Fire...

First time visiting FireSide Grille, and I gotta say, I'm impressed. Probably the best experience I've had dining out to date - and I've lived in the area 5yrs and eaten all kinds of places. I had a unique request, since I had my faithful pup with me - and they not only accommodated, but were thoroughly welcoming and even seemed to enjoy having my canine companion "on the deck" so to speak. We were escorted outside through the bar, and despite the hour and the full house, I never felt we were forgotten, neglected or overlooked. I can't recall our servers name, but she accommodated us with a pitcher of ice water for the table so that my pup could also drink, and she was sweet and pleasant every time she came out to address us. We were led back through the bar when we left, and our departure was acknowledged as warmly as our arrival - just lovely crew and the food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Definitely recommend the crab stuffed mushrooms especially. The bread pudding was a terrific suggestion by our server, and the ice cream was a fantastic side addition. I would absolutely recommend FireSide for dining outdoors with your pet (provided they're well behaved and socialized). If you're looking to dine in, you might want to call ahead though, because this place was Slammed for indoor service, and with the food being good and service friendly, I can...

Too much food. We ordered way too much food. The nachos, to which we added a sliced salad steak were massive. Could have easily served 4-5 people. Also tried the mozzarella triangles. Crusty triangles of fried mozzarella served with marinara. Definitely a pass next time. Lack of gooey cheese combined with the harder than neccesary outside was a huge disappointment. House salad was a salad. Lack of carrots tonight but we didn't miss them. I went with the Big John. I had every intention to go with Texas toast but failed to mention it to the waitress. The onion ring and fried pickles on the burger were a good combo. The brioche bun held up well but I only made it half way through. Wish I would have asked for mayo as it shows up dry. Maybe the burger is a food service product - maybe not. However it had a hand patted consistency and juicy enough that I think it may not be a food service product. The wife had the Cajun pasta in her never ending hunt for Uno's Rattlesnake Pasta. She ate half as well but never said if it was worthy of trying again. She did however go back in on the cold nachos. They remained tasty. Plenty of leftovers on this trip. The staff were friendly. Only a 15 minute wait on a busy Monday night. Couple sticky places on the floor but the table and...
