China Chef — Restaurant in West Virginia

Food taste is Good. The Price for the to go Buffet plate is $12.00 plus tax, which I think is OK, if you consider that that is the amount you will pay for an entree. Now I order an Orange Beef with no Broccoli 🥦. And I was charged an additional $5.00 Because he said it would be more beef. Well the plate was full but must of it was breading with tiny pieces of meat on top and then the real deal on buttom, it taste good but disappointed with this. All I wanted was to save them the broccoli, didn't want more meat than the regular portion, I am ok with that. But been charged additional and then not received is...

I loved China Chef BEFORE... Something has changed however NOTHING tasted fresh... The salmon tasted like bleach. The salad bar didn't even look good...3 to 4 inch chunks of lettuce???? Sorry, not appealing. I couldn't chew the eggrolls. I resorted to trying deserts beçause I was hungry and couldn't find anything worth eating... The cheesecake was tasteless and the cantelope tasted like perfume. What a waste of time and money. Oh, I asked for Coke and the waitress brought me iced tea. I will never go back...used to be one of my favs. Not now!!! Not ever!!! HOT MESS to...

This is the best Chinese you will ever have. I moved to Beckley and I have family members drive it up to me on holidays and kept my doctor down there so I still have a reason to go down and get their hot and sour soup. And not just the soup…the crab ragoons are far above any I have tried in Beckley. It has been a tragedy going from this place to the wontons with plain cream cheese that fill Raleigh county. China chef makes me realize you shouldn’t take a good thing for granted…they will forever be the best cheap Chinese food that exist in North America....
