Walzzy’s Hotdogs — Restaurant in West Virginia

Update- I've since been back 3 times and the quality has gone down hill tremendously! Our last experience (1/28/22) was a take out order with a 40 minute lead time. Upon arrival I was told that I never called in an order by one of the two young kids working, the other one who took the order told him she placed a ticket for him to make 20 minutes ago. So I got called a liar, fries were cold, got shorted 1 hotdog on the order and the Mexican street corn was tasteless. One of the most dramatic turns for the worse I've ever seen at a local restaurant. I think it's time for some adult supervision in the store..

Original review from 2 years ago: Wow! The only Mexican street corn option in town and it's amazing! Hot dog are very good, some of the better ones in NC WV (we are like in the hot dog capital of America it seems). Shakes were great and old bay fries were a nice change of pace. I will say they are on the more expensive hot dog shops in the region but the variety they offer seems to make up for that. Funnel cake fries taste just like a night at the fair! I wouldn't hesitate to come back, wish I wouldn't have forgotten to take a picture...

First time here, visiting the area to go to Coopers Rock so we stopped for a quick dinner before heading to set up camp. Service wasn't as friendly as I would've hoped for and we didn't realize they closed so early because we didn't get there until after 6 pm and they closed at 7. Perhaps that was why they weren't as nice because they were trying to close up and we got there closer to closing time. Anyway, the interior of the restaurant is really cool, enjoyed that aspect the most honestly. Lots of pictures of famous celebrities and athletes all over the walls, and some of them are even autographed. The food was ok, not something I would give 5 stars for, average at most and the prices were fair. Pictures are posted of the interior...

Me and my wife were in the area and thought we would stop. We're not big hotdog eaters but gave it a shot. Definitely not going back. We both got the bundle meal with taco dogs with fries and cheese and a soda. The fries were cold, didn't get the cheese until we asked for it. When we did get it, it was cold and lumpy. The hot dog was gray a nasty looking. I was fairly hungry so I ate mine and hers. A few hours later I had some stomach problems. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and decorated well ( the reasons I'm not leaving one star ) ide recommend some higher quality dogs like kosher ones and better buns, something that's not what I can get at Walmart. Not sure what i payed but I could have done...
