Shagun Palace — Restaurant in West Whiteland Township

EDIT: After years of growing culturally and reflecting upon myself as a person, I take back my previous one-star review. I am so deeply sorry to Shagun Palace. I am from a very rural part of NEPA, and I had a very inaccurate idea of what authentic cultural meals looked like back when this review was written. Since then, I have traveled the world, learned new languages, and met amazing people. I have been back to Shagun Palace many times afterwards and it is always fantastic, and the staff is super kind. I will leave my original review below as a homage to my humility, and all I ask to people before they post something negative is... have I been to this country? Do I know someone from this country? Do I trust my eyes, among the billion of eyes in the world? Do I trust my tongue, among the billion of tastebuds in the world, to tell me what a good meal is?

Worst food experience except the front desk staff. I ordered around 8 pm and asked to stop by after 30 min. I went sharp 8.30 and waited for 15 min to get my food. I don’t mind waiting and have been going to this shop from the beginning. The worst part is food I got today. I ordered garlic naan, plain naan, chicken sheek kebab. Garlic naan was burnt and tasted bitter. Plain naan no complaint. Chicken kabab is the worst of all, most of them were uncooked or not fully cooked, Some are burnt and tasted bad. If I had time I would have gone back to store and returned their food. The chef who prepared the kebab does not care and I even got the alumnium foil in one kebab (luckily it came to mine instead of kids). The staff who takes bill and card was nice, welcoming and greets me. But some how today I really felt I should have thrown my money in the trash instead of buying the food here. food is going to be trashed and not able to enjoy the food. I wish there was an option for zero stars. I usually don't write reviews and never -ve once but it's been two weeks since it happened and I still feel very frustrating when think about it. We went there to buy some meat, around 8:40 pm on Sunday Dec 05 2021. It's about closing time so they didn't have enough meat and when we asked questions about what they have the front desk guy response was so rude saying we don't have any meat left but some lamb, then when we asked what is they price his response was rude again, and when we asked for 1 lb, he commented saying just 1 lb? in a very rude tone, and comes back with about 2 lb of packaged meat and put us in a spot to pay for it. Not only he doesn't speak proper English his facing gestures, and body language made us very uncomfortable and glittery.
