Chester County Library — Attraction in West Whiteland Township

I think a lot of people don’t realize that libraries give out free library passes. My mom have card to the Chester Springs and Henrita Hankins library so 🤩 Just go online. During the summer, I think it was 2023 I saw there was a thing for teen on the second floor(walk past dvds and big book section, there’s a cow information poster thing and stairs). They also have movie nights and activities that I have never attended and probably won’t because I would rather watch anime but whatever.

The truth is that I have not read any books this past year and even if I did, graphic novels, basically adult picture books is what I read.

Also, chairs and you can rent movies for free.

Those raisebeds suck and there’s also a fishtank at the kids books section if I remember correctly from 3 years ago. There’s also a creek nearby but no one really goes there and you can really touch the water so yeah Also next to shopping mall and parking space complex thing so kinda hard to find in my opinion for new residents that somehow...

With regard to the negative review on computer time limits, there are two areas that have computers (total of more than 30 computers available), the reference section with a 40 minute limit per session and the Jacobs Technology Center (2nd Floor at the East end of the Library) with a 2 hour limit. Depending on traffic, the two hour limit is extendable unless there are more users than computers then the two hour limit is enforced. I appreciate the library's well-curated collection of books and the beautiful arrangement of everything. There are plenty of comfortable seating options available as well. However, I have noticed that a few staff members (not all, but specific individuals I have encountered) can be impatient and unkind. I had a recent unpleasant experience with a staff member named Rob, who was unwilling to thoroughly investigate an issue I was having with my library card.
