I took my GOLD S7 Edge to them for a screen repair. The called me 3 days later to come pick it up. Instead of GOLD, they replaced it with a SILVER screen and tried to convince me it was GOLD until I pulled out my SILVER backup phone and placed it side by side. They still tried to convince me to pay for the repair which was incorrect. They told me they'd have the correct part in within a few days and would call me then. Two weeks went by and I called them because I had heard nothing at that point. They told me the phone was ready, so I went by to pick it and and they tried to give the same SILVER phone. I asked for the owners number and they refused to give it to me. They told me they had a shipment of NEW GOLD screens coming in later in the week. A few days later I received a call that my phone was ready. I went by to pick it up, but the battery was drained so I couldn't turn it on. They powered it up for me and I took a quick look at the screen and everything seemed fine. They offered me a 15% discount which seemed reasonable given all the hassle I had with getting the work done. When I got home and went to reload my contacts And personal information, I noticed there were images burned into screen of Solitaire games. This is clearly visible on all light screens. I dont play Solitaire and have never played it on my phone. They obviously didn't use a new screen, rather a used one. My guess is they were tired of dealing with me and took the quickest route to get my money and out of their system. I will NEVER use them again and have been and will continue to ensure my friends...

I checked reviews....liked that they responded to some of the 1-star reviews. I did an on-line request for quote (via this google map review section)...they messaged back....it was weird, I had to go to my GoogleMaps and click on "messages" to see it...but once I figured that out I was good.
I told them Samsung Note8 bad screen...they quoted....I didn't respond right away and they dropped their price by $6....so I then asked if they had my screen in stock....had to wait a while for a reply....they said their location in KOP mall had one (that location is a kiosk and did not come up in Google maps)
I asked for that location's phone # to confirm that they had my screen actually in hand...they did, I rolled over there....took ~45 min. I was a bit skeptical about all this but it worked...screen looks good, works, etc. The guy was friendly (although he had to call his boss to confirm the price because I guess it was quoted lower than normal....)
only reason i did this is that I bought an unlocked phone and did not have insurance....I've heard from the grapevine that the screens are generally not direct from the manufacturer and that they are knock-offs from overseas.....I don't really care as long as it looks good and works ....which it does....so I guess I saved myself a few bucks on insurance and deductible.....still, I think I got lucky that it was just the screen...my next unlocked phone I'm going to buy at a big box store so I can...
Read moreI brought my iPhone 13 Pro Max to the Exton iGeeks location in January 2023 for a simple screen replacement. Over the next several monthsâonly after repeated pushing on my partâI was told the phone also needed battery soldering. I agreed to the repair, and was told it would be sent to the Fishtown location.
Since then, i was stuck in a frustrating cycle: I ask for an update, technicians act confused, promise to get back to me, and then never follow up. Iâve had to chase this down myself every time, only to be met with the same line: âIf you donât hear from me today, youâll hear from me tomorrow.â That call never comes. The same thing happened again on December 4, nearly a year after I dropped the phone off.
This phone held deep sentimental value to me. I trusted iGeeks to help me recover memories that matter. Instead, I received nothing but runaround and silence for almost 12 months. It feels like no one has taken ownership of my case, and Iâve been left in the dark, time and time again.
I finally spoke with the owner after reporting to the Better Business Bureau, only to be greeted with âhow did you get this number?â After communication with the owner, iGeeks claimed to have reached out to me on multiple occasions to return the phone, but ultimately had no proof of this. The phone was scrapped as their policy states after 3 months, and gone are my sentimental memories with the phone. Pay the money for Apple support and repair, and avoid iGeeks...
