Overall review Bad costume service and the owner DOES NOT know how to run a business.

I ordered two birthday cakes for my friend’s twins. I wanted to make sure that the two kids got very similar cake with the color that they like, one being green and one being pink. I went to the store on four days before the birthday to place the order so that I can get all these details right - getting the SAME SIZE and similar decorations. I communicated all my requests and the girl work there said they can do it - I event left her a tip. I went to pick it up today, it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. The two cakes wasn’t the same SIZE!! And the decoration was way UGLIER than the display picture that I those from.

When I was questioning why the order wasn’t the way I wanted the owner came over - the first thing she did was QUESTIONING ME if I called ahead to communicate the details. I told her I WAS THERE IN PERSON TO PLACE THE ORDER FOUR DAYS AHEAD OF TIME. It was their own miscommunication and was just trying to blame it on me.

End of the story is I had to take one that is pre made in the store that is the SAME SIZE as one of the cake I had. No apologies or anything from them too.

Each cake is 40 dollars and I don’t think...

I ordered a cake last night, prepaid, and it turns out I never received any text updates (receipts to prove this) spelling out that they did not have the cake I wanted.

When I picked up the cake, I was treated to judgy stares from one of the young employees -- girl with the long black ponytail - please check that judgy attitude, you don't have THAT much going for you that you can afford to be such a witch to people--

And the other person working behind the counter never explained that they substituted my cake for something else. I checked the box in my car, saw that it was the wrong cake, went back in and then they explained and said they texted (they didn't.)

Turns out I received an email update exactly 2 minutes before my pickup time while I was already driving, so duhh guess what? people are not gonna see those updates if you send it so close to their pick up time to let them know you don't have the cake when you've been open for HOURS. Your notification system is an utter disaster.

This defeats the entire purpose. From now on, I'd rather go to Wegman's or even...

Tous Les Jours is a haven for connoisseurs of fine pastries and bread. The combination of exceptional baked goods and a staff that embodies hospitality elevates this bakery to a level of excellence that is truly commendable. Undoubtedly, my new go to bakery in Princeton.

It’s been almost a year since I started visiting Tour Les Jours every day for my breakfast and baked goods, and I can confidently say that I’ve never been disappointed. This bakery has become my go to spot, and for good reason. The owner and staff are incredibly hospitable, always greeting customers with warmth and friendliness. The breads and cakes are consistently fresh and made with meticulous care and attention to detail. Each visit feels like a treat, with a wide selection of delicious options that never fail to impress. Whether it’s a flaky croissant or a beautifully crafted cake, everything is top notch. Tour Les Jours has truly earned its place as my favorite bakery, and I look forward to many more mornings enjoying their outstanding...
