Zac's Burger — Restaurant in West Windsor

We ordered the mix gyro platter, a falafel sandwich and the jalapeño crunch burger with fries. Let me start by saying I've had halal burgers before and they're fantastic. My burger was way small and the lettuce was not crunchy or fresh, in fact the platter had wilted brown lettuce leaves. The falafel sandwich was ok but the pita on this and in the platter tasted like it was left out from the morning. The platter was filled with dry rice, again like it was made this morning and left out. Great concept, decent execution, but not exactly top quality when things are left to rot throughout the day without refreshing it. Will have to try earlier in the day to see if it will get an edit to 4-5 stars or if it will fall to a 1-2 star. Photos of the sub par lettuce in the platter. I never leave bad reviews but I had to make an exception for Zac’s burger. The food is insanely overpriced for lesser quality than a McDonalds or other fast food. Place doesn’t even come close to Shake Shack or Smashburger. The food tasted like some reheated garbage you’d get at a rural diner that doesn’t get a lot of customers. The cheese fries were soggy, oily, and covered in what appeared to be cheese whiz (or some other weird cheese alternative). The “crispy chicken sandwich” was sloppily assembled. The chicken was clearly out of a packaging and reheated instead of freshly fried. There was a stale loose tomato in the sandwich and a soggy piece of lettuce. We both got upset stomachs after eating here. Two chicken sandwiches and 1 fry cost $28. Again, I hate leaving bad reviews but this place was seriously awful. You’ll get better food & save money by eating literally...

Really happy with the food and service here. Had a BBQ Bacon Burger w/ fries and everything about the burger was just nicely done: patty cooked well, fried onions crispy, bacon just right. Fries were great, good amount and crispy

The service really sold it for me. I could tell the owner was really attentive bc as soon as I entered my order in the tablet and sat down he immediately got me my cup/straw. Then when my order was ready, I thought I'd just have my name called but the owner walked it right over to my table. The presentation was really thoughtful too: Burger and fries were placed into their own takeaway containers just in case and he placed a chilled ketchup bottle...
