Don't Bother with Curbisde

The donuts were amazing, but I did not have a great experience at my first in-person visit. My son had soccer practice and I did not want to get him out of the car in his cleats and haul him into the store, so I selected curbside pickup. I paid a .50 convenience fee and added a tip since someone had to come outside. I pulled up to the designated spot right out front and waited past the order time and no one came out. I checked the email receipt and there were no instructions to notify anyone that I had arrived. So I went in and my donuts were on a shelf right there inside the door. You could see my car a few feet away, and it said clear as day on the order slip curbisde pickup. It looked like the cashier might be the only person there, but there was no one in the store so I fail to see why the person couldn't bring them out, or at least pop their head out the door and wave me in. Instead they didn't even acknowledge that it was supposed to be curbside. A simple "I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to bring them out right now" and I wouln't have bothered with...

Customizeable donuts! What an experience! They have some suggested donut styles you can go with or you can completely customize your donut(s). It was pretty hectic but fun.They messed up my order & kind of just skipped over two of my donuts. I have a feeling the girl didn't know how to put it into the register or mis-read what I wrote. The guy making the donuts just followed through.

They make fresh, hot plain cake donuts, then take your order, fill a box with the # of donuts you ordered, then follow the order receipt. They dip your still-hot donut into your first layer choice -- your base -- then give it a sprinkling or drizzle, then another drizzle -- if you so choose.

I ordered one with both a blueberry & a lemon base. They somehow managed it. A chocolate base, graham-cracker sprinkle, & marshmallo drizzle (the s'more). A chocolate base, coconut sprinkle, & raspberry drizzle. A chocolate base, chocolate sprinkle, & chocolate drizzle. There are soooooo many options! Some of them, seasonal. My husband & I ordered a full dozen (6 each).

We frequent DD often. The donuts (albeit pricey) are always fresh and delicious! However, I came in on Monday (4/17/23) and had the rudest, most appalling interaction with their employee. He had no social skills whatsoever, no sense of customer service or just plain human decency, and I just coughed it up to, he’s having a bad day, whatever. When we left, my sons donut (cinnamon/sugar) of course left a bit of a mess (which I did my best to clean). I walked out and as I turned around, saw this employee FLIP ME OFF in the window!! Never in my life have I ever experienced such nastiness, especially after giving them my business, which will never happen again. **I did try to contact the location but never heard back which is why I’m leaving this review - they need to know who they’re employing and how their customers are being treated.
