This location is so hard to review... I go here regularly, but I tend to limit it to lunch and avoid dinner.
The first reason for avoiding dinner is that the wings here have become incredibly overpriced in the last few years. They keep raising the prices and lowering the portions. During the lunch hours you can get their "fast break lunch" specials that are more reasonably priced. It seems like the servers at lunch time are much better than the evening servers.
When I go there for dinner the service is always slow and my drink always seems to be empty. It's exactly the opposite during lunch.
I understand long waits when it is busy, but when there is a long wait, common sense says that they must be making a ton of food in the kitchen... so why doesn't it come out hot? For the life of me, I can't understand how I consistently get cold wings during a long wait. You would think they would be serving the wings as fast as they are cooked when it's busy, but that never seems to be the case.
While the prices and servings have been a let down in recent years, BWW still has the best sauces of any wing chain out there. This is the one thing that consistently makes me go back. Mango Habanero tastes like candy, and I really like their honey BBQ too. I wish they would bring back their scorpion rum, chipotle cherry sting, and salted caramel as regular flavors. Those were some great sauces.
There are a few friendly and really great servers there, and I'm always happy to see them. It is pretty rare to see a manager checking on tables or pitching in to help during busy periods. A hands-on manager would be a great starting point for this place to show improvement.
They recently changed to a clipboard style menu that is a pain to use, and they changed from serving wings in cardboard boats to what looks like a prison meal tray. I hate those trays, and the boats held the extra sauce in a way that made it easy to dip your wings back into.
I think this is a fine place to visit for lunch, but I avoid it in the evening. The food at lunch time is consistently good. Don't forget to take advantage of their rewards program if you go there often.
So, in short, it's a bit of a gamble when you go here. My recommendations for this location are that some strategic management moves would be good, and to opt for lunch instead of dinner for the...
Read moreI will never order from here again.
Last weekend, I ordered twice in total through Door Dash. Friday night I had ordered 20 wings - with multiple sauces ON THE SIDE. When delivered, did not receive any sauces, even the ones I paid extra for. I considered it was because it was a busy night. So I ate the wings for dinner as I had already paid for them.
Next day I door dashed 30 wings, but this time I called to make sure my order had the sauces. The girl I spoke with on the phone said they couldn't make any changes to my order - I just asked to have all the sauces on the side. Later my door dash delivered and it was a disaster. 30 wings with NO SEASONINGS AND NO SAUCE. I was livid. I drove to Buffalo Wild Wings and asked to have my order corrected from the girl at the counter. The other reviews stating about a girl rolling her eyes during phone calls - same girl as she was on the phone before she spoke with me. She went into the back and handed me the sauces and I returned to my car before checking the bag she had handed me. I got 5 sauce cups barely full of two dry seasonings and 3 wet sauces (one parmesan garlic and 2 buffalo sauces). My bf had to go inside to handle it as I was beyond livid and didn't want to be rude to the girl.
He returned and told me that they had argued with him and said they make their dry rub seasoning AFTER they've cooked their food. I'm sure they do right after it's been taken out of they fryer and not sitting for 30 minutes. They said they could go in the back to get more sauces, but we didn't want to chance anything happening to our food.... Regardless, I was able to be refunded by Doordash, but I will never again go to this buffalo wild wings. You want wings with the bone-in, go somewhere else. Boneless wings? Go to Joellas. Until they change their staff and shape up - this is NOT a good restaurant.
Long story short: I ordered 50 wings i(about $100) n a span of two days and both orders were met with missing sauces and bad...
Read moreUpdate: The manager did call to rectify the problem and apologize. Initial Review: I do not know even where to start. I had what has been my worst carry out experience ever. During this COVID-19 time my wife and I do our best to try and do carryout at least once a week to support the restaurant businesses. I went online to place a delivery order around 12:00 noon on Thursday 4/23. The latest delivery time available was 730 and so that was what I selected. I got a text at approximately 7:15 that my order had been assigned to doordash. This is where everything went wrong. My doordash delivery person texted me at 7:45 letting me know there was a very long line and he would do his best to deliver as soon as he could. By 8:30 he had moved to the front of the line. At 8:50 he texted and let me know he had left and was on his way out when he realized they gave him only half of his two deliveries and I had to call back. I was already furious. I then called the local buffalo wild wings and they said they would remake the order since the original had been sitting there since 7:30, but now I needed to come and pick it up. I was upset I was almost 2 hours late but agreed. I went and got my order and took it home. Now at 9:30, I pulled open my order only to find that 1 of the 4 boxes of wings had the wrong sauce, an entire appetizer was missing, I had no dipping sauces for the wings or the appetizer. The worst part was the food was barely lukewarm and was clearly the order that was prepared over 2 hours ago and the sauce had all soaked in and was mostly gone. It was frustrating. So, at this point it is over 2 hours late (9:45pm) and my food still isn’t correct. We were hungry and ate what we had and decided I would file my formal complaint in the morning. I now wait to see how this can be remedied. I am...
