We've been loyal Chipotle afficionados for decades now and the aggregate experience has been excellent food with standard service. It's not Chick-Fil-A, the staff isn't there to smile at you or hold a normal conversation...we get it; no problem. But this most recent visit was so blatantly bad that it was almost like an episode of Impractical Jokers. We used the mobile ordering app and the "promised time" was 15 minutes out from the time we ordered--ok. We got there and patiently waited until 25 minutes had passed and MULTIPLE people had come and gone while we waited. Not one greeting, not one "can we help you?," nothing while we were the only ones waiting by the mobile pickup section. I'll save you the long story, but the cashier could not have been more rude when I asked her about the order status and the manager was so obviously high that she looked like a glazed over brain donor when I "spoke" to her. The worst part is that I made the mistake of tipping these winners in advance and they not only failed to earn it, they have proactively discouraged us from returning to Chipotle. This location is dead to us and I'm giving it second thoughts on the company. Who hires people like this? If they're that rude and high while working, what else are they doing that we can't see? No thanks. To CMG management, I'd encourage you to change your managers here at a minimum and perhaps consider investing in social skill training for your little Lebowski...
Read moreMy jaw is literally on the floor. I came around noon on a sunday, it was busy, the staff were doing their best to stock low ingredients. Despite this, service moved quickly, efficiently, and without issue…
That was until the Dressing People. The secondhand embarrassment was so strong as I waited for these decrepit, sun damaged people to get the rage out of their system. I get it, it sucks when what you want isn’t available. I wanted fajita veggies but they were out (i’m guessing because it was busy like i mentioned earlier.) I watched as the old dude yelled at the manager about giving him free guacamole in the place of dressing, to which the manager replied with the obvious: Dressing Boomers would have to pay for it.
I’m on my lunch break from my retail job where I’m a manager and wanted to say something, but the manager on duty handled this situation with perfect grace. I think the icing on top is when Walmart Yzma looked at me with one of those “can you believe this guy” looks as her primordial husband had a full BF about salad dressing.
I just want to give props to the staff for handling the situation so well, and to the manager who did his best to deescalate the situation. The only reason there was an issue was due to the Dressing People not understanding that the manager can’t pull dressing out...
Read moreMy expectations of local Chipotle locations has gotten pretty low post-COVID, but this location consistently lowers them further. It’s closest to my house, so I keep trying again. At this point I know:
• They will be out of something. This time it was white rice. The last 2 times it was veggies. Before that tortillas. Before that veggies again.
• Tables will be dirty. You’ll need to bus your own table and the trash can will be overflowing.
• The staff will treat you like they don’t want to be there either. Not all of them, but at least two will make you feel like it’s either their first day on the job or last.
• You’ll find parking but may need to drive around the store.
• beverage center will not be stocked. Straw wrappers, sugar packets, and drink lids will be thrown around. Something you need will be out of stock. This time it was normal size drink lids. Last time they were out of the iced tea I ordered and paid for at the counter.
You’ll have the best experience if you order ahead on the app...
