I recently had the opportunity to visit this Chick-fil-A restaurant in Westfield, Indiana, and I must admit that while the food was as delicious as ever, I was quite disappointed with the overall service I received. My experience fell short of expectations. Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I was greeted by a teenage girl who seemed to struggle with entering my order into her device. This caused a delay and left me slightly frustrated. After finally reaching the window or door in the drive-thru, another teenage employee approached my car and requested that I park in one of the designated parking spaces for app orders, instructing me to turn on my blinkers to indicate my presence. While this process felt inefficient and time-consuming, I complied with the request. She handed me a card for a free item for my next visit because they were making me wait for my order. I appreciate that. Shortly thereafter, a third girl arrived with my order, but to my dismay, a salad was missing. So, I walked towards the drive-thru door, where the employees were serving other customers. I informed them about the missing item and, after verifying, the manager acknowledged that the salad had not been included in my order. So, I gave the manager my debit card. Of course, I did not expect to receive free food. However, what disappointed me was the manager's lack of apology and his detached response when I expressed my dissatisfaction. He asked me if the girl who took my order repeated my order back. No, she did not. The manager failed to show any remorse for the inconvenience caused. His lack of empathy and the absence of an apology left a bitter taste. It was disheartening to observe his stressed demeanor and dismissive attitude towards a customer who simply wanted their order to be accurately fulfilled. Furthermore, when I mentioned my intention to write a review about my experience, the employees standing by the manager began to laugh. This display of unprofessionalism further reinforced my concerns about the lack of proper training and respect for customers within the establishment. It was deeply disappointing to witness such behavior, especially considering the manager's failure to address it. When I arrived at home, I noticed they gave me a yogurt with Oreos instead of granola, as I requested in my order. While a mistake with the yogurt topping was made, I recognize that such errors can happen. I did not care about that mistake. However, the larger issue at hand is the lack of effective management, which is evident through the disrespectful conduct and unapologetic nature of the manager. In conclusion, my recent visit to the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Westfield, Indiana left me disappointed with the service. The lack of proper training, along with the manager's dismissive attitude and the unprofessional behavior of some employees, tarnished what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. It is my hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and that the necessary steps will be taken to address these issues, ensuring that future customers receive the exceptional service that Chick-fil-A...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGo to this location often, but always for lunch and service is always fantastic. Evening crew was a different story. Drive thru had 3 workers taking orders (one was training) and I worker handing out orders. Line was backed up and moving exceptionally slow. Was second car from front of line when worker brings food out says what I think was my name, but car in front says yea and worker gives my food to them. That individual promptly says this isnāt my order, and worker takes the drinks back but leaves the food. 15 minutes later, still 2nd car from front, worker takes new drinks to car in front and asks them to pull to waiting area. Comes to me and I ask if that was my food and he says yes and gives me a free sandwich card and says pull to the waiting area we have orders for the people behind you.. I ask why and he says we are cooking your food..so I pull to waiting area, keep in mind it has been 30 minutes at this point (couldnāt leave because I was blocked in for that whole time in line. So another 15 minutes goes by and finally get my food. Workers says sorry for the long wait have a good day and it was my pleasure and walks away. Check my food and of course missing the condiments I had originally asked for, no napkins, and fries were cold and undercooked. But there was a brownie⦠the purpose of this review is not to complain about bad service, but to help the process so this doesnāt happen in the future. 1st thing I noticed and notice it at every location I visit. When they take your name for your order they never say it back or confirm the spelling. Have had multiple times when getting my order that they have my name terribly messed up. 2nd the worker giving orders needs to be confident when speaking and communicate clearly. Had this happened the other person would have known it wasnāt their food. Lack of training, staff, and confidence is what lead to this bad experience. Had they possibly delegated their responsibility better the single worker doing orders may have not been rushed and performed his job better. I will continue to use this location, but wonāt in the evening as I was there for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst Chick Fil A ever!!! Ordered food via the mobile app. Got in the "express lane" to pick up food in the drive through. When we got to the pick up area, we were told to move forward to the meal delivery zone. After 20 minutes of waiting, one of the workers finally came to the car and asked if we were waiting on an order. Ummm yes. What do you think we are waiting on?! About 10 minutes after that, we got our drinks. More time goes by and we finally get our food. Meanwhile the whole time, watching car after car get their order. I'm not really sure how that many people could get their order, yet we were still waiting. So disorganized!!! When we got our food, we found that we had no sauces. My husband ran inside to get those only to wait another 10-15 minutes in utter chaos. People weren't getting their food, not getting the right food, only drinks and no food....unreal! In total, we were probably there around an hour. I won't be back to this...
