EDIT AT THE BOTTOM I've been to this location twice. Each time I've been, the baristas are friendly and fast. I ordered the wrong size and when I got to the window, I explained the size I wanted and apologized for my mistake. The barista was super friendly and they made the right size for me. I also ordered a bacon and gouda sandwich and it was the BEST breakfast sandwich I have EVER had. It was fresh, hot and oh so tasty! I've never had a bad experience at any Starbucks that I have been to and this location is no exception. Out of the several locations I have been to, this one is my favorite based off location, service and quality of my drinks and food. I recently became a consumer of Starbucks and quickly fell for the Starbucks way of life! I've tried several of their drinks and I look forward to trying more and discovering my favorite, if I am even able to narrow it down to just one! EDITED (below) ON 11/23/19 I was excited to return to this location whilst in the area today. However, the baristas that were working today seemed to be very, very overwhelmed and to the point of frustration. It was not the crew that I had encountered during my previous excursion to get the delicious Starbucks I had been craving. I ordered a Venti and received a grande at the window. I was also told there was an upcharge to the addition of a mocha drizzle ($.25) however, this time they wouldn't charge me. When I ordered my latte and frappuccino, I clearly stated what I was wanting, starting with the drink size first as I always do, and it was clear and present on the ordering screen or else I would have corrected the size. The extra addition of the mocha drizzle was also present on the ordering screen. Suddenly, I had flashbacks of the double ordering lines that McDonald's thought was oh so clever to put in, yet causes such severe ordering issues on top of the fact they never get your order right (a story for another review). When pulling up to the drive through, we noticed there wasn't but a few customers in line awaiting their afternoon caffeination. Therefore, it shouldn't have been too hard to run the drive through and especially with the amount of employees working. I understand that sometimes it can become hectic when a multitude of drink orders are being made and set in a line to distribute through the window, but sometimes taking a step back for just a moment, inhale and exhaling slowly, then resuming with your duties with a smile - even if it is a forced one - can make a big difference in not only your experience, but the customers as well. I hope that the baristas, whom were working today, had a much better shift than what they were experiencing during the noon hour of my arrival. I will return again, but I hope that this time, there aren't any simple mistakes that could be averted by slowing down and focusing on the...
Read moreEdit 11/6/23: ordered a drink with caramel topping a flat lid was put on the drink, I politely ask if I could have a dome lid, please, and the girl said you want what? To which I replied, could I have a dome lid please.? She then replied oh, OK whatever you’ll have to wait a minute. Two minutes later another barista walks over I asked could I have a dome lid please, he hands me the wrong size, and I stand there like a moron, trying to get it on for two minutes, so I ask a third barista. Could I have a different dome lid, this one doesn’t fit? To which she replied with there’s two sizes you’re trying to put the wrong size on it. Now, let’s understand some thing, I didn’t pick out the lid, it’s what they gave me. Why did they just act like I went in Starbucks asking for motor oil? If you work at Starbucks, accommodate people, and their effing Drink. I pay seven dollars for that. You have a job because I order Starbucks. Just because you live in Westfield doesn’t mean you don’t have to do things right, at your job. You’re not as cute as your mom told you you were. Do better Starbucks, do some customer service training. How about that??
I have stopped in this store, a total of three times now, while doing business in the area, and each time my drink has been made wrong, and when I go in to ask that they make it right, I get the worst attitude ever. Why is it, that just because people live in Westfield, mean, they gotta be so rude? I didn’t ask for anything free, I did not yell, or talk down to anyone, I asked very politely, after apologizing for asking, if they would, please make it again for me, the way I asked for it to be made. And yet she acted like I asked her to to do something personal. She’s the barista, I am the customer, it is my money that helps Starbucks be what it is, not hers, so she needs to lose the attitude. They also need to recognize, when I pay $7.92 for a drink, you bet your rearend I expect it to be correct every single time I order it. And if it’s not, I’m gonna go back in and ask them to make it correctly. Do better Westfield Starbucks. If your employees do not like their job, I would get rid of them. Unfortunately, they are the face of Starbucks. And it was not a very pleasant face. I had to...
Read moreI come to this location often. Recently their service has unfortunately gone on a downward slide. Two days ago I ordered my usual drink. “Venti iced latte with coconut milk and an extra shot”. Which may sound pretentious to some. But it’s really a pretty simply order. Four total shots over ice with coconut milk. No flavors needed, no steaming milk needed. Simple enough. Well. Monday I get an iced coffee instead with coconut milk. (Not what I ordered). I wasn’t too worried. I accepted and moved on. Yesterday I go again and this time I go in instead of through the drive thru. I order “Venti Iced latte with coconut milk and an extra shot”. The cashier asks “so you want three shots?” We proceed to politely argue as venti iced has three normally and I say “no I’d like four total shots”. It ended up costing more than usual which I don’t pay much attention to as prices change and I drive all over the state and taxes are different in different areas so the prices vary too. My drink is ready and it’s hot. I advise the barista that it’s supposed to be iced (this explains why the cashier wanted to argue the amount of shots, hot has less than iced) I advise that it was supposed to be iced. The barista looks at me then the label on the drink and says “no it doesn’t say iced”. I explain “it was supposed to be, could I get it iced please”. With a very negative face and no answer the barista walks away. It’s not clear to me if I’m getting an iced drink as ordered at this point on not. But I wait. The barista comes back and says with a very angry tone “ you’re going to have to take this or throw it away, we can’t take it back”. I had never accepted or taken the hot beverage mind you, which basically means she wants me to throw it away for her. Which I do. I feel bad for whoever will have to take out that trash later as I know a full cup of hot coffee will melt that plastic trash bag and cause a mess, but it was their direction. Long story short. Too late. But I was floored, I’ve never had such poor service at that or any other location and I go to Starbucks literally all over the state and was...
