I came in to Denny’s and was waiting for someone to see me. Hey gentleman name, Mike Miller was checking out some guests. He saw me, but never acknowledged my presence by saying he would be with me in just a moment. Instead when he was complete With the checkout, he asked me are you picking up food for Uber? I said why would I be picking up food? He said oh I don’t know. He was racially profiling me White. After another lady sent me, he came by and I could hear him whispering under his breath and I said what are you talking about? He then started to verbally threaten me and told me to shut up and if I have a problem with it, she could step outside with me and and take care of it. So I’m being physically threatened at this point he then went to his manager and lied to her about me racially profiling him for some reason and then said I had physically assaulted him after she told him to kick me out of the restaurant, he proceeded to grab over my shoulder and hit me on the neck and shoulder with his arm to grab my menus. I would not let him have them so he grabbed my phone and threw it down the counter. I was then told by the manager to get Out of the restaurant. After I called corporate and they looked at the cameras and saw that I was physically assaulted and my personal Possessions were battered. He was let go. The manager still being there has not been reprimanded. Her name is Donna. This is not a family environment any longer. This is a hiring of people that look like they just got out of prison with tattoos all over their neck and face and arms. I think this is a horrible representation of family diner or environment for...
Read moreThe place was clean; food was good; even though everyone was learning since this location is new. The manager was going a good job of keeping everyone on track and patiently educating all of the new ppl. However... My friends (5 of us total) wanted to relive old times of us meeting at other Denny's and playing a card game (euchre) to the wee hours of the morning. This one closes at 11, which was fine because we aren't as young as we used to be and don't stay up as late. We laughed, but not overly loudly. There were quite a few other tables, but the place wasn't packed. No one was inconvenienced by us as far as we could tell. We weren't needy or rude to anyone. Not vulgar. The manager kicked us out at 9. Gave no explanation other than he couldn't have us sit there all night. (We had been there since 5) We told them when we came in that we wanted to stay a long time. We were planning on ordering a second round of food. The waitresses didn't know why he kicked us out. They looked confused about it. We tipped well since it wasn't the waitress's fault and we were there for a long time. They would have gotten more money had we left at 10:30 as we planned. It was really weird. I had never been kicked out of anywhere before, even though we have played for hours in many other restaurants. We had actually been talking about how well the manager ran the place until he...
Read moreThe gentleman who seated us and checked us out was very welcoming and sweet. Our waitress was nice too and tried her best. The food however wasn’t so great. I drove 35 mins to eat at this dennys because I do not like the dennys in castleton, the one in Greenwood is my favorite and all the ones in a pilot/flying j are amazing too. My sizzling skillet wasn’t even sizzling :-( and I drove this far just because of the skillet. The waitress noticed it wasn’t hot so she went back and then brought it back to me and still the same. The cheese was American instead of the white cheese. You can c the picture in the app and it shows the white cheese with so many veggies. The taste itself wasn’t the same and it disappointed me so much, and barely even veggies. It was the crazy spicy skillet without the chorizo. I also had gotten extra chicken on the skillet, but from the 100 times I ate at dennys, never had I received it on the side, always on the skillet.I am hoping I don’t get a tummy ache. Also my daughter had gotten chicken tenders and they were way tooo salty. And my older daughter had ordered a build your own burger and didn’t want cheese on it, but was given with cheese. We didn’t say anything and ate, paid and left. But definitely will not return again. I wish all dennys had...
