Friendly's Cafe — Restaurant in Westfield

PLEASE don't bother going to this place. It will only encourage Friendly's to open more. This is not the Friendly's we all know and love. I spent $52 (Without a tip) for 2 kids' meals, a salad and a burger. The salad was skimpy, with a couple of pieces of dried out chicken, things on it that we asked to omit, slathered in dressing when we asked for it on the side. My burger was so thin that it would have been impossible to serve it any way but well done. It was a dried out piece of over cooked meat of some kind. The lettuce on the burger was clearly not fresh. The kids' meals were OK, but what do kids' know. They had chicken fingers and sliders. Neither kid finished their lunch. When we went to get the kids' sundaes that are included with their lunch, the woman at the counter tried to charge me again for them. There were only 2 parties in the restaurant and the other one had left, so I don't know how she could have mixed that up. The runner came and cleaned off the table and took away the kids' food that we wanted to take with us, while we were getting ice cream. A purse was still on the seat, so clearly we were still there. Again, there was only one party in the place and it was us. She could see that we were up getting ice cream for the kids. The music was so loud that we couldn't talk, and the kids were yelling to be heard over the music. ...

I felt so disrespected because of the way your employees treeted me. I ordered a fribble and a clam chowder and it took more than 45 minutes to receive my food. During the time i politely asked "When will my food be here sir" and he replied with "it will get here when it gets here cant you see im busy" so another 10 minutes go by and i ask when will it get here and no one awnserd so i sat there and i watched everyone else get there food while i sat there it wasn't untill a man approached me aksing "how long have you been waiting here?" And i replied over 30 minutes" so he asked for a manager and the manager was confused she didn't know anything that was happening. So she asked the employee that i asked earlyer and he said "its gonna be done soon" so then they start arguing and they throw what i believe was supposed to be my fribble into the wall and feel like it was a mad house because of the inappropriate language and craziness. Believe me if i could give you guys a 0 star i would. To everyone reading this i do (NOT) suggest going...

Everyone kept telling me how good Friendly's Cafe was so me and my youngest tried it.

I got the honey BBQ burger it looked delicious on the menu. When I received the burger it looked nothing like the one on the menu. The meat wasn't even cooked all the way even after asking for well done. It didn't taste like BBQ at all. I did not like this burger. The waffle fries were delicious.

My daughter ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks. They tasted okay but would have been better with ranch. She loved the apple sauce.

After dinner we decided to try the ice cream. My daughter had the reindeer chocolate ice cream and I ordered a peanut butter sundae but with dairy free raspberry sherbet. The ice cream was super delicious.

The service was great, no complaints.

The atmosphere was different from all the rest, it was modern and clean.
