Mariah needs smaller sections or longer breaks. I had to go to the bar twice to get what we asked for. We waited a very long time for her to come back to take our order. My drink took 15 minutes to show up while I watched it at the bar dying. I asked for my soup with dinner it came long before which left me eating alone and the sitting and watching everyone else eat. She told me it would be a small extra charge for the soup as a side....she charged me full price and then blamed it on managment for her mistake. She made us feel very rushed and like we were inconveniencing her by having dinner at her place of employment. She would drop stuff off without saying a word. If you would ask "if theres anything else" it would have kept two people from our party having to find someone else to help us. It was just a bad experience.

My daughter LOVED the kids mac and cheese. It was a perfect portion and super cheesy. Don't bother with the kids ranch steak, its a super small portion and about 40% fat. The spicy chicken sandwich is NOT spicy. It has no sauce on it so ask for a side of buffalo. My husband said it would have been out of the park if he thought of that but we haven't been to the 99 in about 10 years. The Fruit Sangria is delicious but no one tasted alcohol in it. We are a group of seniors that often go to The 99 in Westfield, MA.on Tuesday nights. I call ahead to give them a close headcount. Usually there’s 10-12 of us. They recognize me when I call to tell them who we are. They work hard to get us our long group tables on the dining room side. As the high top tables are difficult for some of our friends. We often get the same wait staff. They treat us like valued customers. They are kind, efficient and bend. backwards to see that we are all happy. Good portions are perfect and fairly priced. I am one who is working on my weight. Another reason this restaurant is a great choice. Tonight, I enjoyed the Balsamic Drizzled Salmon. One of my sides were your wonderful fresh carrots. When I’m a little more frivolous, I enjoy your wonderful burgers or lobster rolls. I am usually wanting a taste of sweet. I don’t really care for the little desert shooters I love the concept, but wish they were a little better. However, tonight I ordered your Summer Sea Salt Carmel Ice Cream dessert. The waitress knew what I wanted. She brought a bunch of dishes and spoons. I had my two bites to satisfy me and passed it on for all to enjoy it was your best dessert yet! Went in around 4:30 on a Tuesday. The restaurant was at about 20% capacity. We were promptly greeted and seated by the hostess. Once that was done, that is was the end of any good experiences. Mariah was our server. Every step took an extraordinary long amount of time. Ordering drinks, waiting to take our order, receiving food etc. My son asked for A-1, that didn't come out with the food and after about 7 minutes of waiting my wife got up and asked the bartender who was very helpful. Two or three times, Mariah came to us to ask how things were, or drop off a drink, and she didn't even stop walking. On all occasions, I or my son were trying trying to ask for silverware or boxes, but she just didn't even stop to interact. My wife's soup was charged incorrectly. My sandwich was supposed to be buffalo but it was a crispy chicken sandwich with no flavor. I had given up at that point and don't want to ask for even a side of sauce, knowing it would have taken forever to receive it. Just a terrible experience. Mariah looked like she had 4 tables including us and she was completely overwhelmed. A truly dissapointing time, especially for a family of 5 who doesn't go out...
