I felt like having something from Uncle Skippy’s so I went to get a few things. Always Love the choices and being Gluten Free for medical/ health reasons very Grateful Uncle Skippy is there. I ordered the “That’s Nacho Pizza” which was Terrific. Just like having nachos with the right amount of heat. It’s made with Uncle Skippy’s chili which is everyone’s favorite. I also took home an order of his meatballs with sauce that never disappoint. He told me to try Barilla’s Gluten Free spaghetti because he finds it tastes the most like regular spaghetti and holds up the best. Anyone gluten free will understand what he means. So Uncle Skippy, I bought a box on my way home from your kitchen and You are So Correct!!! Excellent tip I received. I made it with the meatballs and sauce and added some Tuscan Herb infused olive oil from Patricia and Paul’s and grated Parmesan Cheese and “Wow” it was So Delicious. A Very Delicious and Reasonably Priced meal in the comfort of Your Own Home!!! Add a glass of red...
Read moreWe ordered take- out food for my son's birthday after reading all the positive reviews. We chose two different pizzas and a chicken Caesar salad. The pizzas were tasty and lived up to the gluten free hype. However, I was very disappointed with the chicken Caesar salad. I had expected a fresh, high-quality salad with roasted chicken and house-made Caesar dressing, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The lettuce seemed like it came from a bag and had several slimy pieces. The chicken tasted more like packaged Perdue Short Cuts than anything freshly roasted. As for the dressing, it was just a packet of Ken's Caesar dressing — decent for what it is, but not what I would expect from a restaurant. The salad was so unappetizing that none of us could eat it, and we ended up...
Read moreWe didn't feel like cooking after a long day yesterday so we tried Westfield's fun new restaurant USK. We made soup with USKs bone broth last week and just tried the Chicken Parm with Sunday Sauce. The portions were huge and the meal was amazing. The gluten free pasta was perfectly al dente and the Sunday Sauce ("gravy") has a old world, home cooked flavor that paired perfectly with a Cabernet. Ordering from the app was also quick and easy and parking was a breeze.
We aren't strictly gluten free but we are definitely going to explore the rest of the menu because the food is delicious and the entrepreneur (James) is interesting to talk with and quick with a...
