My review is not to bash the owner/chef but it's truly coming from a concerned foodie/fellow Korean food lover. I don't usually like to write bad reviews because the owners are probably doing their best during this post-covid/pre-recession times. But I do have to point out one thing or two for the owners/chef about my personal dining experience. We took my out of state guests to this restaurant for the good reviews. Boy were we so embarrassed in front of our guests everything after the appetizer.....
We had to wait almost an hour to get our main dishes after the appetizer, and that's unheard of in any restaurant scene but especially in Korean restaurant scene. That kind of slow service just doesn't happen with Korean restaurants.. Maybe this restaurant is trying to be more like a bar than a restaurant, but now it's neither. You Maybe trying to be both but it's not happening.
Your $20 Hwe Sup Bap- not enough Hwe (sashimi), not enough fresh veggies and way too much rice. You need to add a dash sesame oil before serving. Add more garlic to your Cho gochujang. Make the dish more full and complete by simply adding more ingredients. And I would charge $1 more IMHO.
Your kids menu noodle dish. Again it was WAY too salty. All you had to do was add a 1/8 of more onions and cut down the sauce. (I am thinking maybe the amount of sauce was decided before you start cutting down the amount of veggies..? Maybe thats why the dish was so salty.) And let's not serve your warm noodle on top of french fries. Of course the fries will get super soggy. It makes me think that the main chef is not in the kitchen at all for a while
Your miso soup- again, WAY too salty, most likely because it was made in the morning and was in the big pot in low heat all day. Again, its giving mean impression that no one was checking the kitchen. Miso soup quality is just so basic, it's just indication of poor management in the kitchen.
Your Hwe dup bap was served with fork and knife. Your banchan for Yook Gae Jang were just kimchi and the cucumber kimchi. Korean rice dish is never served with fork. It's like you go to an Italian restaurant and you are given chopsticks, and no parmasan cheese. Your restaurant was painfully missing the very basics of Korean food. **We did ask for a spoon and we were given the spoons promptly. But by then there were way too many missed opportunities.
I know about the inflation. And I know this restaurant is probably targeted for non-Korean customers, but let me guarantee you if your Korean customers are this unsatisfied with your food and service, I am sorry but you need to dig down deep and re think your business models and your menu because your future isn't bright. I know the owner is not new to the food business. Can we please re think what your focus is with this joint. The K-food scene around greater Worcester area is devastatingly lacking. Can we please do better?

Read moreGot dinner with my wife the other night and we decided to drive out here for some Korean food because our local spot was closed on Sundays.
We were not especially hungry, but we had a craving for the classic dishes: Bulgogi and Tteokbokki. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning here.
The bulgogi was bizarre. It had a crumbly texture almost like it had either been cooked too long or marinated too long. It was an odd mouth feel. There were no signs of onions on the clay dish, and the only vegetables were small traces of green onions, some thick cut carrots, and broccoli. The flavor was okay - which is NOT how you should EVER describe bulgogi.
The tteokbokki was equally as mediocre. It was served in a large bowl and the sauce was very thin to the point that it looked like we ordered soup. There was no hard-boiled egg, - or any egg at all - which is a first for us. The biggest crime was that there were no fish cakes when it's something that's always present in tteokbokki is several places we've eaten. Due to that, the flavor of the sauce/broth was extremely lacking and all we could taste was spiciness. Very disappointing dishes.
The place was not all bad, The interior is very nice and this would make a fantastic date night or a spot to hang out with friends. I've been told that the sushi is pretty good... but I didn't choose to go to a place called SEOUL Kitchen to get some sushi. The waiter was fine, but they walked by my table several times without noticing that my wife and I needed a water refill.
Overall, not a good time.
I saw that they're going to open a new place in Leominster. I hope the quality of food...
Read moreMy father and I love coming to this restaurant to try Korean food. This restaurant is one of the few Korean places around where we live and the food does not disappoint. The Korean dumplings/Gyoza is my main appetizer that I always go for, the taste is perfect and the flavor comes out really well when you dip it in the sauce. The Korean tacos were big in size and had a wonderful taste. The pork was cooked delicately and it had amazing seasoning.
My father got the beef bulgogi which had a surprising but good flavor to them. It was sweet, but not overly sweet so I enjoyed the taste a lot. The rice was also super delicious, it reminded me a lot of Chinese fried rice but the way that it was fried was perfect and the cook brought a lot of flavor out of the rice. It was probably the best fried rice I’ve had in a long time and I was pleasantly surprised.
The waitress we had was very nice and she was easy to communicate with. She let us get extra hot sauce and she didn’t mind at all! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice as well, and I really enjoy a chill atmosphere and this restaurant had it. The restaurant was not overly loud with other people’s conversations. Although you could hear other people’s conversations, it wasn’t bothersome and it was quite nice to have a slight background noise while eating. The restaurant also has a nice modern look to it and it is always super clean in the inside!
Thank you for spreading Korean food to the public where it is not often available, I am really happy that this restaurant is around in...
