I just moved here from Bedford and had my prescriptions transferred over to the Westford CVS. I asked for 2 of the prescriptions to be filled and they promised them by 5pm. I arrived at 5:45 to pick them up and was told they werenât ready and I would have to wait or come back. I chose to wait, with my daughter in the car, and the prescriptions were ready about 10 minutes later. When I got home, I found that neither of the prescriptions they filled were the ones I asked for.
I called them and they apologized and said to bring them back yet, when I brought them back, they refused to take them, refused to refund my money, denied any responsibility and then tried to charge me for another prescription (days later, only 1 of the 2 prescriptions I asked for was actually ready).
I had to call the police who came, investigated and found that NOBODY WAS IN CHARGE of the pharmacy at the time so I would have to come back when the manager was there on Monday.
After having already made 2 trips to CVS, waiting extra time for the wrong prescriptions, time on the phone with them, time with the police etc, I called and spoke to the manger instead. She was rude, kept making excuses and denied responsibility for their repeated screw ups. She finally agreed to refund my money but also asked that I donât go there anymore which is hilarious!
I donât know why the hell she thinks I would I ever even consider going back; this CVS is HORRIBLE! The people and their manager are incompetent and thereâs just a complete lack of accountability. What if I were an elderly person and didnât realize I had been given the wrong medication? No wonder CVS has such low reviews on Google and Yelp!
CVS has lost the business of my entire family (6 people) over this. I moved everything over to the Walgreens right across the street and the service there...
Read moreI had 4 prescriptions to pick up, I stopped at the first desk to drop off an insurance auth. about a previous medicine. Then I told them the Dr had just called in 4 Rx's for me and that I would wait for them. When my name was called I went to the desk. He said he only had the 2 and that I would have to go back to the other counter. I've been here by 30 minutes so far and am short tempered by now. I asked them what happened to the pantoprazole. After a few minutes, she said my insurance didn't cover it. It was too expensive for me to purchase so I said ok I'll just pick up the other three. As I was getting rung up, the fire alarm went off (you just can't make this stuff up). After the all clear, we were let back into the building and I was able to pay for my scrips and go. When I got home, I was missing the aerospace chamber that was prescribed by my doctor. I had to go online to find out they were out of stock. I've been coming to this CVS since 2008. I've watched the employees run ragged. They have to many soups cooking and too few people to get the job done. This equals angry employees and angry customers. There is often 6-8 people in line waiting for their script. I'm also a registered nurse. Not having aero chambers in stock when you have so many people on inhalers is negligent. It is also bad business practice to send customers back and forth instead of communicating with them while you are at their window. There's no reason the tech couldn't tell me protonix wouldn't be covered the first time I was at her window. There are so many good workers here but communication needs major improvement and I suggest you keep at least 2 Aerospace chambers in stock. Also the pharmacist should only have to answer questions about drugs and fill scripts, not...
Read moreI would give this cvs in Westford a negative review if I could. For years I have just thought the Caucasian lady who appears to be in her 40s was just rude and racist, because she constantly has a bad attitude, and had been so so rude to my mother who's legally blind who has a heavier accent etc.. Many times I've had to drive from the other side of Westford to sort things Rx and questions out for her..until I realized the reviews are bad and it doesn't race is not a factor. They are just terrible human beings !!!
Yesterday, I got another taste of their inadequacies, they are quick to send your off the line and make you wait 40mins-1hr etc, in this particular case because they are too inhumane to call insurance company to figure out that she entered extra numbers after a hyphen so Rx got rejected, they don't consider you probably don't have the time to keep going there for small errors they make and they should fix, or that because of their errors your have to go yet an additional day without Rx,. Versus to call insurance company, yet I reiterated that the CVS in Lowell will give me Rx yet this one claims my insurance info is not correct. .. there share systems for crying out loud. Do they just enjoy seeing people suffer. I have 3 uoung children, Who have busy schedules and after school activities, I don't have the time to keep going back to the pharmacy, let alone going 2 3 days to get my Rx. She had the nerve to send me to CVS in Lowell. She said, things seem to work out for you there. It's as though I'm always supposed to go to the next town to pick up my Rx. I'm not welcome to pick up the Rx in...
