JANUARY 2025 - One of our favorite places to eat in our area. Pasta & shrimp, cooked cabbage, and black-eyed peas today plate lunch was so DELICIOUS! My current wife had the fried fish, cucumber & tomatoe salad, and French fries with hush puppies were also delicious. Plate lunches are loaded, and we have plenty for supper!!! Also, Richard is a big McNeese Cowboy supporter, too.

Very nice plate lunch southern comfort place each day there are different freshly cooked items there's usually a choice between two or three different entree items with different sides

It gets really busy very popular with the local plant workers also only open for a few hours during the lunch rush

Main thing I don't like it's not that big of a deal really they don't have fountain drinks there is a sweet tea machine but if you want a Coke or something you're going to have to just buy a bottled...

Tried Fatboyz Kitchen Table for the first time and was seriously impressed. I had the gumbo, perfect balance of spice, meat, and rice. You could taste the layers of flavor in every bite. It was hearty without being heavy, and just the right kick of heat.

The staff was friendly and attentive, checking in without hovering. You could tell they care about the experience just as much as the food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving something real...
