Good service and good food.
Read moreI'm a loyal customer who's never encountered this issue before. I went to a new (to me) sonic (#3394) about 3 weeks ago and ordered my usual of a cheeseburger, extra veggies, minus patty. I got about 5 miles away and opened to eat it to realize they gave me no patty, no cheese, 3 small bits of Lettuce, a half a slice of tomato, and a pile of onions on a bun. So.... no lunch for me because I didn't want to eat an onion sandwich.
So about 2 weeks ago, a job took me to that area again and I figured I'd give give another chance. This time, after vehemently reiterating what I wantes, it was almost right, wanted, left off the cheese. I had a backup plan though, as I'd ordered a soft pretzel with cheese. Well.... they forgot my cheese for that too. So I threw out the pretzel and ate my cheeseburger that didn't have cheese.
I returned to that same one a few days later while wrapping up that same job in the area. I thought, ok... I'll give them ANOTHER chance. Make it easy on them. I ordered my drink and a pretzel twist WITH CHEESE "PLEASE don't forget the cheese." I begged. They forgot the cheese.
I vowed never to go back to that location. But as providence would have it, I had to go by that location on my way to another job and the other workers asked for sonic drinks. So I went drive thru and ordered 3 route 44 drinks. Easy peasy. There was no one else in line.. .. well I had to YELL my order to the lady who couldn't seem to get the order right "you said root beer??" No, I said limeade slush.... not very promising but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I got to the window and counted 5 people milling around inside. But.... It took 13 minutes, 13 MINUTES to get 3 drinks. No food. No ice creams, no shakes.... just drinks (tea, coke, and limeade slush)
This location NEEDS better management. I've spent over 50$ there now and NEVER had a good experience.
Sincerely,
Very disappointed customer who lost...

Arrived at drive through. Window down rain falling in, I wait..wait..wait.. 2 - 3 min nothing. Rolled widow up pulled forward to see if they were open. Yep, open not paying any attention. Pull to a stall further down, push red button. Waiting.... I was the only customer! Finally, placed my order. Rolled window back up and dried my car from all the rain that fell in. Waited and waited. After receiving my order I had to order 2 more corndogs. The young girl said I got it, I will get it for you. No need to place another order. I thought that was very sweet. I waited again. After I saw other cars that had arrived and drove off I pushed the red button to find out if I was forgotten. A young man answered and I inquired about my order through the car hop that delivered my previous order. I was told to hold please. Note.... my previous order was getting cold! He came back on and said they were almost done, she was waiting on "Fresh" corndorgs. I replied I was short on time! A different carhop immediately came to my vehicle with my corndogs. To my surprise the total was $4.18? I asked why the sign said HAPPY HOUR CORNDOGS $.99. Her reply, "that is between 2 and 4". The time was after 2 and way before 4. Ummmmm....... was her reply.
Beware of overcharging! Tips are being added to the orders!
Good reviews don't spread as fast as bad reviews. I had to replace my previous review in lue of this instance. Highly upset and over a few dollars! The principle of the matter is...
