Round Top Burger House — Restaurant in Westlake

Stopped in for a moment to have a soft drink and collect ourselves after attending a funeral. Once the server saw that we were not going to order any food, she began being very rude to us. The place only had one other customer and we were in the back corner being quite consoling one another. The blond lady had a problem with my 8 month old daughter as well because we weren't putting her in the wooden high chair that was brought to us although nobody requested it since we were not eating. After about 5 minutes the woman comes up to us and said "Do you mind? I have customers that have to eat on those tables!" I can assure you that my child is very clean and was wearing clean socks as she was sitting safely in her father's arms on the table. I didn't realise that the restaurant did clean/wipe off the tables once patrons left. And what were we if not customers? I did try the cupcakes though. The frosting was nasty but the cake part was like a cupcake should taste. Get rid of that server and her nasty attitude toward grieveing customers and give me and my family an apology and then I will...

This place is so good! The kind of place you'll eat at two nights in a row. They have a lot more than burgers, too. The really impressive part (for me) was when I walked in the door at 5:53 and was welcomed in even though they close at 6:00 pm. No attitude! I ordered the Mad Dog burger w/ onion rings and my sister in-law got the bacon (bacon was perfectly cooked) cheese burger w/fries. Both our meals were hot, freshly cooked and generous in size. It's the kind of burgers that come wrapped in that white paper!!!The next night we got there at 5:45 and still, no "we're about to close" attitude!!! I ordered a mad dog minus pickles, jalapenos add bacon. The lady wrote it down exactly the way i wanted it. When i took 3 bites into the burger, there were several pickles on bottom bun. When i brought it up to another cashier, they took my basket to the back, hand picked off the pickles and gave it back to me. I told them i could do that myself but the flavor was still there. The lady retook my basket and came back moments later saying they put a rush on it. From first glance it was on brand new buns but when i opened the burger up, it was the same meat that they hand picked pickles from moments earlier.
