Stopped in for lunch...you'd think with the advertisements of fresh fish and such, that the food would be good. I paid $12 for a less than McDonald's grade meal that I ended up tossing bc it was so bad. Their "idea" of lightly breaded fish and shrimp is a square fish patty of some sort. Something totally bought frozen and thrown in a fryer. YUCK!!! On top of that the coleslaw tasted and appeared to be spoiled bc the sauce on it was separating. GROSS! As for the shrimp...It tasted extremely fishy and the cocktail sauce tasted like a mixture of watered down ketchup and hot sauce. No thanks! We will not be coming back or recommending this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery Disappointedā¦.Since I moved to Westlake I have loved the lightly breaded Perch dinner. I started out this Lent season excited to have their Lake Perch again. The normal past perch dinner was at least 4 pieces of lightly breaded perch. I received 2 Large pieces of perch because they were now battered. Mostly batter and minimal perch. The Price was Still $19 for dinner. You can have a fish dinner at many places that batter their fish for half the price. Web site still states they Lightly Bread. I realize Everything is more expensive, but this is not OK for more breading than Perch. Sadly, I will have to not return unless they return to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent today for the Thursday lobster roll special, two for $20. They really should rename these because nothing about them resembles a New England lobster roll. The lobster suspiciously looked like and tasted like imitation crab. Yuck! I did spot one tiny tip of a lobster claw. But thatās the only lobster I saw in it. That being said the establishment itself looks amazing! They have a very large selection of fish and seafood albeit a lot of itās frozen but Iām OK with that. They also have live lobster so Iāll keep that in mind. For that reason, I may go back and try the fried perch dinner sometime and...
