We stopped by yesterday for Eid and had a somewhat good experience but not really exceptional. We were expecting a bit more.
Some of the things that the restaurant could improve would be: Outside signage is torn out making it look like a cheap corner restaurant. After that interior ambiance was pretty good. One side smoking and the other side non smoking. I wasn’t expecting a Muslim restaurant to allow smoking at all. Most non Muslim restaurants don’t allow it. It’s only a small population of Muslims who actually smoke. You could smell smoking even on the other side. Would not take my child there again if they don’t stop smoking all together. Many parents should choose the same. If that’s what the owners are attracting, they should convert it to a hookah bar and not a restaurant. The place was freezing yesterday. We told the server a few times and they would acknowledge it but do nothing. We even tried to use their panel to increase heat but it would not go beyond 65 which yesterday everyone said is cold and uncomfortable. Most of the servers didn’t understand very well English and were not experts on their menu. Server would keep asking us whether that item was on the menu or not. We asked for mozzarella sticks and he was surprised that the item was on menu. After that, he said they are out of it. They ran out of coke in the middle of the lunch. They didn’t have Dr Pepper either or sprite. Pretty disappointed here. My cousin likes those pops and we had invited him. The bread was some cold pita bread purchased from some local store put in plastic bag. Very cheap. Was expecting some hot good traditional Arab bread and was disappointed. They didn’t have anything with lamb on their menu. Pretty weird for an Arab restaurant. We had a late guest and told the server around 4:40 that we would like a burger and if we could expedite since most of us were done with our food. He came at 5 saying that it would take a bit of time about 10-20 mins. the burger came at 5:35 after the manager had to jump in.
Other than that, food...
Read moreAbsolutely loved this place! You walk in and are immediately greeted by the wonderful staff and the beautiful decor. When me and my friends sat down we were helped right away and I couldn’t even decide what I wanted to try I was excited for all the yummy food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet with subtle music playing and comfortable for us to talk and have fun together. Once we ordered the food came out shockingly fast and it looked and smelled fantastic. There was so much food I wasn’t even sure how much I’ll be able to finish. The taste was even better with a great mix of veggies pickles and beef in my beef shawarma. There was a bunch of fries on the side as well that went perfect with my meal. The hummus we ordered for the table was so soft perfect flavor and texture that was accompanied by tasty pita bread as well. The fattoush tasted just like home and reminded me of my favorite authentic flavorful and colorful salad that hit the spot! The wonderful staff made sure to check up on us and were extremely helpful. We were ready to leave and I was able to look more at their wonderful decorations and paintings around the restaurant. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here and experience the atmosphere and kind staff, observe the gorgeous decor, and most importantly taste the amazing food. I can’t wait...
Read moreThis happened at 6 pm today I have been wanting to try the new Syriana Mediterranean restaurant since they open so we planed a visit me, my husband and my 3 girls and this is the most awful service, first of we walked in and stand next the host that was sitting at the front desk for over 10 minutes and he wouldn’t acknowledge us or greet us or talked to us like we weren’t standing in there finally a lady passed by and took us to a table we sat down for 15 minutes waiting for someone to get us menus or a server to just check on us if we were been taking care of, no they were to busy with another table that came right after we sat down chatting with them and ignoring us and we even witnessed another small family being seated and the person gave them menus right away and we were just ignored for over 15 -20 minutes!! The place wasn’t busy at all and plenty of empty tables!! This is ridiculous, and disrespectful, my husband had enough of waiting as well as my little ones so we got up and left and no one even cares or acknowledge us leaving and the host was still sitting behind the computer on the front the desk!! Shame on you!! We were looking forward to try this restaurant but never again!! First impression spoke by...
