Rusty Barrel — Restaurant in Westlake

Went here for the first time with some friends and my boyfriend on Friday 8/17/2018, and I wasn't at all impressed! The wings were really good, but the service was horrible! Our waitress Patty wasn't very professional at all. She had a sarcastic attitude and was just nasty. The alcohol selection wasn't very big, not to mention drinks are way overpriced! I wanted a Piña Coloda, and they don't make those! My boyfriend wanted a Blue Hawaiian, and our horrible server Patty had no idea what that was! Smh this place was just horrible! Never again will I be back! I didn't even want to tip our server Patty, but my boyfriend insisted on tipping a few dollars! Patty...

Remember that place stuck in the back of your head you would visit with your grandparents? Dark wood, weird layout and suspicious glances from anyone that didnt see you as a regular?? Well this is it, perfectly preserved in Westlake. Dark, oddly laid out and more of a diner feel to the table service than a pub...but all in a good way. Our server was Maude who was great and funny, the wings are absolutely to die for and it felt like going back 40 years to the supper clubs of Northern Wisconsin. Just left about 20 minutes ago. No food; Server must've not realized I was there, or they didn't care. She also made me feel pretty awkward. Restaurant wasn't busy either.

Came all the way from Oberlin because I heard the wings were really good here, then was told my coupon was good for everything except wings because there's a special on Wednesdays. I'm not a regular so how would I know that? I don't have a problem paying full menu price so I can use the coupon - that's what I was expecting to do anyway.

Also realizing now I left without asking for my coupon back. Just an unfortunate...
