Few days back my friends were exploring any new Indian restaurant near by to try. Finally end up finding this restaurant. I think they have tried both pepper chicken fry, boneless and chicken dum biryani, they moment they tasted the food they started a FaceTime video call with me and showed the food served on their table. That really made me surprise. From the look itself I could really figured out that food would be awesome. Anyways, while coming back they brought boneless and Chicken dum biriyani each for me. I really loved them. So today is Sunday, I decided to go there with my family. I found the location is very far from Mayfield Rd. It is in a small market complex. Anyways the man Satish welcomed us and gave us a table. We have ordered Chicken dum biriyani, tandoori Chicken, Murg masala(recommended by Satish) and butter naan. The food was really outstanding. I will rank MURG MASALA the No. 1 dish. I think finally Biriyani/Chicken lovers in Cleveland got a restaurant to enjoy their weekend. The only think I did not like here is Mirchi ka salan, I think many of people don’t really care but I love mirchi ka salan. Anyways I had really a nice time. But one more thing please keep your restrooms clean. Final rating: Food -> 5/5 Ambiance -> 3/5 Restroom -> 1/5

This is the best Indian restaurant I have been to, and I am lucky enough to live (relatively) close to it. I don't often eat out unless I'm not in town, but the quality of the food here warrants at least a few visits a year. Put simply, the food slaps. A full on forehand of flavor and backhand of spice. You have the choice of mild, medium, or hot, which, depending on the nature of the dish, can mean different things. For example, a mild tandoori shrimp will be much less spicy than a mild goat biryani, which (I assume) has already been slow cooked in a spicy sauce. Whatever the case, I can unreservedly say that the flavors of all the dishes are on point. Of all the dishes I have tried, none have been lacking in sublime unity and complexity of flavor. The dine-in experience is adequate. The portions are noticably larger when dining in; a given take-out entree can feed 1-2 whereas the same ordered dine-in can feed 2-3. The dining area was spacious and the waiter was nice, but don't expect a fine-dining level of service. Most of their business these days seems to be from take out; my most recent meal there on a Thursday afternoon was in an empty dining room. All in all, this is a great place for great food. It's worth a shot if you have the chance.

Ordered paneer Tikka masala with no issues, went to pick up my order and the cashier moved the tip jar over and said " if you want to leave money, you can leave it there". Keep in mind he had my credit card in his hand. Once home, we live 30 minutes away I noticed my order was incorrect and my naan was hard as a brick!!! I called and the cashier to voice my concern, which I wouldn't normally but the food was $30+ and I drove 30 minutes to get it. The fact that the cashier had the audacity to ask for a tip- was very rude. When he answered he was not only rude, but rather than listening to me voice my concerns he continues to cut me off when attempting to speak! We won't be back to this established- ever! I'll stick with Indian Garden in Lakewood. ***** updated*** After giving the restaurant a second try- the food was correct and very good. Staff no longer asks directly for a tip for a takeaway order and verify my order to ensure it’s correct! The food is delicious and several orders were correct. Side note- save money on your samosas and pick them up from the store next door they are yummy.

My two favorite ethnic foods are Indian and Thai. Always on the hunt for a good Indian restaurant within 20 minutes of home, I was thrilled to discover Biryani Hut Express, a small Indian restaurant, tucked into a shopping plaza off Center Ridge Rd in Westlake between Columbia and Dover Center Roads. The food and service are outstanding, the food authentic. On Tuesdays through Fridays during lunch they have the Chef's Special Thali (an Indian platter with an assortment of dishes) which is what I order because it's different each time. The vegetarian Thali is my "go to" and I find myself craving this food if it's been over a week since I've tasted it. The generous portion of Briyani is full of seasonal vegetables and delectable Indian spices and is often accompanied by dal and another vegetarian side dish as well as Naan, an appetizer, and a dessert. My partner orders the non-vegetarian Dali which today came with either chicken or goat meat and he was equally pleased with his choice. Biryani Hut Express has been open 7 months and during that time there's been heavy road construction along Center Ridge Rd in front of the plaza so you need some determination to get there and deal with the hassle. Today it was raining with no workers and no traffic issues. Don't be deterred by the road construction. The food you get once you arrive is worth whatever minor hassle it takes to get there. They have a brisk takeout business as well. According to our genial waiter, there are plans to expand into an available space next door so they can accommodate larger groups. There is also an Indian grocery in the same shopping center if you are so inspired (as I was) by your delicious meal and want to try your hand at cooking Indian...

We have been frequent visitors of Biryani Hut (BH) for years. While their food is good, and we love supporting them - especially during COVID, it takes forever for our orders to be ready. Every single time, I have waited between 45-60 minutes PAST my scheduled pick-up time for our food to be ready. Their online ordering system is user-friendly, but I wish it could tell you when your order is ready to be picked up so I don't end up waiting at the shop for so long - and with a hangry family back home. Also, when I'm in store I often see them taking additional phone orders and letting customers know "20-30 minutes for pick-up" when I've been standing there for 30+ minutes waiting for food I had ordered over an hour ago. In addition to the other 5-6 customers waiting for their food as well. Deceiving them with the timing will likely just lead to more dissatisfied customers. I don't want BH to have to say no to customers, but giving more accurate times would be courteous, at the very least. Perhaps, sometimes you have to say you're at capacity for orders for the night. I hope soon they are able to get a bigger kitchen, or increase their kitchen staff to accommodate all of these orders within a reasonable timeframe - definitely a good thing they're so busy! I've learned to get our orders in EARLY!

For food recs: Veg: Crispy Masala Pepper Corn, Chili Paneer, Paneer Tikka Masala Non-Veg: Chicken Tikka (dry), Kadai Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo (spicy), Murgh Masala and don't forget...
