QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Westland

I visited this restaurant today January 19th at 5:41pm, I havent had qdoba in forever and was craving chips and queso. My experience today made me not ever want to eat qdoba ever again especially not this location! All the food looked like it hadnt been switched out in hours and the young lady was helping me was literally scraping the bottom of each pan to serve into my bowl, when we got to the pico de gallo, i politely asked for something more fresh because she was literally just splashing tomato juice onto my bowl. I also ordered a cheese quesadilla kids meal for my 2 year old son, I get to the register and the cashier throws the quesadilla into the bag with my bowl and says is that all, i said i ordered a kids meal is the quesadilla the meal and he went on to tell me what I can get with it but also waiting for my payment. I felt so rushed and there was no one behind me in line at the time. I was never even offered a drink to go with my meal, never asked was I dining in which I was because I just worked 10 hours and was starving. I go to find a table for me and my son and literally every table in the restaurant was dirty besides one where someone was sitting. I wiped the table off and started to eat, you could tell nothing was fresh, the queso tasted spoiled I couldnt even take another bite, I wanted so bad to get up and get a refund but there was a long line and didnt want to make a scene so I decided on this route. This is the part Im soooo utterly disgusted at, a woman stood in the back on her phone she looked to be a manager, tall black woman in her 30s possibly with braids into a bun and a black collared shirt on, I could see her from where I was sitting, she was on her phone the entire time I was there, she would walk in and out of my view, The ice machine was in my direct view and I seen her a total of 5 TIMES stick her hand into the ice machine and get a piece of ice and put it in her mouth and then continue on her phone. No gloves on whatsoever!! I sat there and watched in disbelief and even took a picture because i was so disgusted!! I will never ever be going to this establishment again...

I visited this location just after 11am (30+ minutes after opening) on a Sunday. When I walked in I was the only customer in the store. I was not acknowledge or spoken to until I got up to the counter to order. The employee didn't say hello, he just asked what I wanted.

I order three knockout tacos. He then tells me he doesn't have any bacon. All three of the tacos I ordered have bacon on them so that was disappointing.

At this point another customer walks in and goes straight to the register, he was also not greeted. The employee asks him if he has an online order and the customer says yes. The employee tells him to sit and wait because the peppers have not been cooked yet so his order hasn't been made.

He continues making my tacos and it's very clear he does not know what ingredients go on each taco as he has to keep looking up at the menu board. This looks very unprofessional from a customer standpoint. I suggest a breakdown of each tacos ingredients posted above the food so the employee's can reference it as needed.

Now approximately 8 customers enter the store. Another employee comes out from the back while on the telephone and sees the paperwork for the online customer order sitting on the counter. He starts working on that order while still on the phone and neither employee acknowledges any of the customers standing right in front of them.

The first employee continues to make my tacos and puts a large amount of cilantro on them and then proceeds to put the dressing on and wrap them up to go. I tell him he didn't put lettuce on them so then he goes back and puts it on.

Overall this was an awful experience and I will not be going back to this location. Not greeting customers, not having ingredients already prepared when you've been open for more than 30 minutes, not knowing what ingredients to use are all unacceptable...

Great job manager died you stay on top of your managers just like you would employees because they have to be a good example your stores always very clean when I come in and I watch your interaction with other customers you're the same way with each one Fair understanding and never have seen you talk at all to any of your employees I nominate you manager of the year turn up shaking my head because seriously I'm laughing already just thinking how blessed they are to have you as a manager how blessed we are as customers to encounter you and be able to build your own also delicious Mexican entrees yummy affordable you can go online and hey I'll give you free food if you qualify with points it does work I'm a firm believer that good luck to you world for please it doesn't have to be a holiday to order you a quesadilla with steak and chicken or tacos sour cream lettuce cheese everything is been handmade at least from my standpoint I can't really tell for sure but I'm probably to come over there or something LOL but anyways main idea main story Cordova rocks old let me get up without there something about mr.
