West Ridge — Local services in Westland

The store was pretty clean and organized while renovations were occurring. They have done really cute dog toys, but I couldn't find my brand of wet dog food. The dog food seemed to cater to higher end brands like Blue Buffalo and didn't include Mighty Dog. My pup enjoyed the visit and the laid back attitudes of most of the staff. While there, the staff offered a free nail trim for my friend's puppy, but totally disregarded my dog. I saw in the dog salon that they charge for grown dog's nails, but I think that maybe the staff should acknowledge dogs that are not just babies. If the staff would have treated me with the same attention they did my friend, I probably would have gotten my dog's nails done at the same time. I picked out some fun toys and treats that my dog went crazy over. Over all it was a good trip...

I like this plaza mostly for Target. It's one of my favorite places to shop because you can find whatever you need or want there. There's kind of a home quality to Target. You can walk through it without having to worry about being elbow to elbow with a bunch of other customers. I love Burlington Coat Factory as well, although the customers tend to run through it like the Tazmanian Devil. It's hard to find what you need, but it's too easy to find what you want. And you can exchange merchandise with no receipt (which is awesome). I'm always tempted to buy everything I see.

Five Below, Petco and Bed, Bath & Beyond are also great shops to stop by in for quick errands....

There honestly isn't much here anymore (at least not compared to what there used to be). It had been years since I had been here, and to my surprise many of the retail space has gone empty (thanks Amazon). Just kidding but anyhow there are a few shopping destinations left here (Target, Burlington, etc...) and a HUGE gym that was either shut down or just closed very early that day (it was hard to tell).
