Wish I could give zero for both food & service. Antonio the waiter & the blonde manager lady were horrible. The last few times dining here, I’ve had issues. But I had great waitresses/waiters those times who rectified the issue immediately (made sure my medium/pink burger was refired since they made it well done in error). And I didn’t have to wait 20 min for it. And it wasn’t even busy. I didn’t get not one refill of fries nor my coke. My daughter waited forever for her Mac n cheese refill. I just asked for a refill of coke plus a refill to go along with boxes because at this point I’m ready to go. He brings a to go cup for less than 1/2 of the coke I had left. I had to correct him & told him I asked for a refill here plus a refill to go of my coke. He brings a Diet Coke instead of a Coke to go refill many minutes later. At this point I’m fed up. Flag down the lady who I thought was the manager. She said yes she was the manager but didn’t act like one. I told her about my burger being well done & waiting over 20 min for the medium burger, then getting no refills offered or brought to me of my drink or fries. All she said was “ you want a refill”. And just told him to get it apparently since he eventually brought the to go refill only if coke. No apology or offer of anything. Meanwhile he offered & brought 4 refills of Diet Coke to the Caucasian lady behind me & tended to his new table of 6 people. Maybe he thought he wouldn’t get a good tip anyhow; not sure why he didn’t pay my daughter & I any attention. But I used to wait tables many years ago, am more understanding than most, and tip over 20% all the time. I’ll have to try the Livonia location IF I feel like going to a Red Robin’s again but will likely just go somewhere else nearby since it doesn’t make sense to go to a further location when this one is practically next door. The manager needs training & Antonio needs to shadow the blonde girls there who do a great job serving & making sure thee customers get the right temp burger in a timely manner, refills offered, etc. Also, the kitchen needs to pay better attention to the temps of the burgers. Read moreBy far the worst dining experience I have experienced in atleast 20 years (idk no recollection of anything as terrible) waitress tiffany that worked Tuesday May 23rd around 2pm has to be the laziest most disrespectful waitress I've ever experienced....absolutely disgusting attitude and needs to be fired!!!! As a manager myself I can tell the establishment that she is the reason ppl do not come back!!!! With that said I can tell the kitchen staff was not experienced and probably was training as I would do also with new workers (Tuesday dayshift) but I seen multiple orders go back and the "waitress" would tell customers it's their fault.....totally unacceptable my first time and last time there!!!! I'm actually horrified....the burger basically comes rare no other option (either pink or no) we sent our "RARE" burgers back and was told it was pink or no and we said no and was still pink but not as bad as it was at first (actually came out the way we intended in the first place when we said "medium well" I'm sure cooks were new but that's not our fault and felt like tiffany was upset with us and other customers....she needs to be fired and manager needs to focus on brand standards from cooks .....DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! With all that said the "scorpion" burger was not spicy at all....I'm not sure if it was recipe or execution but my message to the managers is ur staff is drowning the business u need to focus on training and execution and being involved, I don't recall seeing any leadership at all while I was there.....there's noway ur going to accomplish targets or flow through like what I experienced even tho ur pricey it can't cover volume and u guys have to be below...
Read moreNot impressed. We had arrived and were sat at the table, our waitress never greeted us, immediately asked our drinks and walked away. Very dry and unpleasant attitude. She brings the drinks to the table and disappears. My table had then asked for a spoon which she never brought so i had to go to the bar and ask for one. We sit and wait, she eventually comes back and takes our order. The restaurant was very empty, she had 3 tables total, she never returned to our table but was seen several times assisting the tables behind us. Someone else delivered our appetizers and our food to the table, forgetting some of our requests. Waitress never stops by to check on us as we left our empty glasses on the edge of table waiting for a refill. I had to call for her as she was walking passed us to ask for our requests and refills. She gets upset we asked her for items we had requested WITH our meals and that we asked for refills. She returns with our refills and one of the requests but still forgetting one item. We asked for the other item for the 3rd time, she then gets bothered and has the manager assist us for the rest of the night. I understand if you were busy, but you intentionally ignored our table even though we were right next to all of your other tables, we got a very unappreciated attitude when we were asking for things we shouldn’t have had to ask for.
