So we met up with the Park and Recreation supervisor, young man didn't know what the hell he was doing. My mom has spoken to him before in the past about it and he basically told us to suck it up and deal with it. So we wanted to speak with the mayor but instead we were greeted by two men. The young man and an older man who is so rude and just gaslighting up the wazoo. I explained that we have veterans in our neighborhood and on our neighborhood our street we have a lot of autistic people and sensory overload with the noise is unbelievable. There are people doing sketchy and drug dealers in the parking lot at the park, and we express if there was any way they can move those concert series down further so the residents do not have to be irritated with the noise. If you have money to Bill Tatton Park up you have the money to move the wiring. I express that I also have PTSD with loud noises and constantly I'm on edge with my hypervigilance feeling like I'm being shot every time that bass music goes up. I have a history a PTSD induced non-epileptic seizures and been in and out of the emergency room along with my mother with her high blood pressure due to the stress of these noise complaints not being taken seriously. Deliberately try to find things wrong that aren't illegal but they left the illegal crimes go on and people get hurt, nothing is done. We will be taking a step action further for our complaints to be taken more seriously. The gas lighting, the coldness, the apathetic, all of them that work there are honest to God sociopath. I dare them to try to spend the night in this neighborhood, trust me they would pack their suitcase and go back to their half a million-dollar homes. They had a smug face, smirking as I was telling them I'm autistic with ptsd. This is city of Wesleyan people, they don't care about the citizens only their Bank accounts. It's turning into another Detroit, it is now rated one of the worst cities in Michigan the past two years they said. I missed the pandemic because at least they didn't have those concerts going on, they were gaslighting us saying that the concerts end at 9:00 or 9:30 at the latest which is absolute BS it ends...

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the city of Westland's handling of resident requests and the apparent inconsistency in their response times. Despite multiple attempts to get information and assistance, my simple requests have gone unanswered for months.

Specifically, I submitted a request to have a tree removed from the cities property that has caused a raised sidewalk and soon will wreak havoc on the curb. This tree has already encroached upon my yard, reaching right up to my front porch. It is causing significant concern due to its proximity to critical infrastructure, including the pipes leading to my home. Despite the urgency of this issue, I have not received any follow-up or resolution from the city.

To add to my frustration, I have learned from conversations with neighbors that a similar request made by someone just around the corner was addressed within two weeks. This stark discrepancy in response times is not only frustrating but also raises questions about fairness and efficiency in handling resident concerns.

The tree's continued presence poses a real risk of damage to the cities, and my property. If this issue is not resolved promptly and results in any harm, I will be compelled to seek legal action to recover damages. It is disappointing to feel neglected and to witness such inconsistency in city services.

I strongly urge the city of Westland to address these discrepancies in service and provide more reliable and timely support for all residents. It's essential for the city to ensure that all residents' concerns are treated with equal importance...

They terrorize everyone by inspecting the grass. My grass had been cut on the first of May, but they came anyway and mowed down my vegetable garden. My entire garden, which was bluming, was destroyed, months of work. They knew it was a vegetable patch, because of the pots they ran over. It was partly a container garden,but now it is a trash heap because of them. They want me to pay them $300 for trashing my yard, which belongs to me, not to them, according to the US Constitution.. Also, If you check the water table and ground water swell you will find that your property cannot be sold in good faith. The tax assessment is 3 times more than it should be.
