We eat here on special occasions. Steak is wonderful, burgers are delicious and big, they have chicken sandwich that is delicious, chicken strips are wonderful, fries are always good, best bread ever.
Well we went here on Friday it was not busy. We waited 10 minutes for a table. We sat down and no one came for 15 minutes to ask us if we would like a drink or ready to order. Then this amazing server Patricia D came from out of her section by the bar to come take care of us. Not sure who's section it was or why we were not addressed by then. Either way she took our order without writing it down, she was very apologetic and helpful. Brought clean dishes with bread, she also had our food to our table within 15 minutes. Thank you Patricia D we appreciate you from one server to another your amazing. The management took time to come speak with us and offered a free appetizer, but we don't like any (get some cheese sticks on the appetizers menu). He was very apologetic as well and took responsibility for his employees and made sure we had a wonderful time while being in the building. Thank you sir, we appreciate you as well. We also appreciate that you also took $20 off our bill for the inconvenience. Not sure if anyone else goes here, but request Patricia D she's the best server in this place. Give her a raise she deserves it and whomevers section it was, you need to lose some hours for that. I have worked with people like you and you make everyone around yous job so much harder, no one cares about your after hours plans if you can not server your whole section, close you face and do your job first. Remember you are replaceable. Trust when my family goes out to eat they have high standards because of how amazing of a server I am, so make sure when we show up your on your game. Never empty drinks, always have the silverware, clean dishes, fresh hot presentable food and a smile on your face you always will get a good tip from us. So servers staff do better because I watch all of you while you work. Ask for Patricia D if you want good service that is on point, stay away from the male servers I seen enough over the years, the men were working the section we were neglected in. Read moreBeware the cut! Had dinner at Longhorn in Westland tonight. My son ordered the 9 ounce Flo's Filet, my husband ordered the 8 ounce Sirloin, and I ordered the 6 ounce filet. When our steaks came my husband immediately questioned if I had accidently gotten his sirloin, because what I got was a thin triangular shaped piece of meat. We flagged down our waitress Tiana. She whipped out her order pad, read back our orders and tried to say that what I received was indeed a filet. She said to cut into it to see if it was prepared properly. Cutting into it only further proved my point as the steak was sinewy, and more in line with the texture of a sirloin. She seemed to think they could prove that it matched what I ordered if the doneness was a match. I explained my concern was not about doneness nor size. My concern was about the cut. I explained Filets come from the tenderloin and are usually round and a thicker cut. She had the manager come talk to us. Very quickly the manager said they would bring me another steak. I agreed, but as I sat there waiting, I could already see what was going to happen. And sure enough they brought me another steak exactly like the first. Only this time overdone. The manager, much like our server tried to convince me this was a filet. He explained it looks like this because of the smaller 6 oz portion size. He actually used the word "illusion" as he was trying to gaslight me they were serving me a filet. We go to steakhouses all the time. Morton's in Troy, Hyde Park Prime in Northville, Flemings in Livonia, Ruth Chris in AA. Heck even the ones we buy at Costco. We've prepared whole beef tenderloins for Christmas dinner. I've had a lot of filet, and this was not one. I really feel bad for all the people who come here and don't know enough about steak who might have this same bait and switch going on. Read moreI visited on May 17, 2025. The service and food was excellent. I was so impressed, I visited again the following week on May 24, 2025. I had a couple guests with me because I had told them how great the food and service was but unfortunately, the latest visit didn't go so well. We all ordered the chopped steak and none of them came out cooked as we had asked. We had two medium well and one well done. One was pretty much medium, really red, and the one that was supposed to be well done, was actually medium. The other medium well was cooked well with mushrooms. We would have switched but I asked for well without mushrooms. All but one of us sent our meals back but instead of sending through our server, we had to ask another waitress because our waiter did not come back for quite a while. At first the waiter seemed to be attentive but that only lasted through the appetizer. At this time I also asked for more water, and he said OK. When he finally came back, he said our meal was being recooked and my friend said he had not been a good waiter because I still hadn't had a refill of my water and, he never came to ask how our meal was. He got snippy with her and said, "Oh, Im not a good waiter because I cooked your food and it wasn't right, or because I forgot to bring water?" It was very sarcastic so my friend told him to cancel her order and we asked for a manager. When the manager finally came, he was dressed in regular clothes and just walked up to our table and said, "Someone said you wanted to speak with me." I then proceeded to ask him, "Who are you," because he never introduced himself, he just started asking what we wanted. I thought he was a customer at first until he finally said who he was after being asked. This was around 8:30 p.m. or so.
